 I had a bit of a crafting day today.  I was sorting through some of my offcuts for another card and thought the white sweater piece would go well with this image.  The other card won't be posted until tomorrow at the earliest as it didn't quite work out and I need to re-do part of it.

I have used an offcut of a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Paperbabe Stamps.  Coloring is with copic markers, Wink of Stella and Kindy Glitz.  I also inked the edges of the image with Distress Ink.  I added some tiny pearls to the offcut piece.

Holly Jolly Christmas

I am taking a bit of a break from creating Scraps cards to have a play with a fun fold I discovered a couple of days ago.  I found another one this morning that I would also like to attempt soon.

I used papers from a 30cm x 30cm Christmas paper pad that I found some time ago.  I actually prefer the 12 x 12 paper pads if I can find them as many of the tutorials use that size.  Problem is that they seem to be really hard to find in NZ.  The image is from Paperbabe Stamps and the sentiment is from Beccy's Place.

Dance Like Nobody's Watching

When I looked at this image for this card, I could imagine this girl dancing around in her gumboots.  I think it was raining her at the time so I thought about dancing in the puddles. Anyway, it was enough to inspire this particular sentiment!

Today we have another sunny day so it looks like summer is going to hang on for a little while yet.

I have use a digital paper from NS Designs.  The image is from Paperbabe Stamps and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  I added some gold ribbon between the card base and digital paper.  I also hand drew some doodled lines around the image and sentiment side of the card.

I rotated the sketch at Paperbabe Stamps to suit the image:

 When I saw the inspiration picture at Paperbabe Stamps, I immediately thought of this image that has two different versions - one of which lends itself well to grey.  I also had the perfect paper to go with it sitting in my Awaiting Crafting Box.

Naughty or Nice? decisions, decisions

I was sitting down and working through the last of my cards for the month and then my Mum rang me and asked if I could go and get some fish for her and drop it off.  Today is the day that the Fish Van is parked near the town I live in so off I went!  I'm back home now and trying to get some more cards uploaded if I can.  I think today is just going to be a messy day.

And yet again it is raining today.  Officially tomorrow is the start of summer - would be nice if it was a sunny day for it but I'm not holding out much hope.

I have used a digital paper (source unknown).  The image is from Paperbabe Stamps and the sentiment is from Beyond The Fringe.  Colouring is with copic markers.  The image and sentiment are die-cut with stitched dies (rectangle and circle) from Memory Box.

I cut out the swimsuit and the arm from the second copy of the image and raised that up using mount tape.  I also raised up the sentiment.  For some further dimension, I added a pre-made bow to the swimsuit.  To finish I added a bit of bling to the patterned paper.

As we have yet another wet wintry day here, this card isn't particularly relevant for my local friends!  I am certainly looking forward to summer.  The picture inspiration at Paperbabe Stamps gave me a summer vibe and there was alot of yellow (which is one of my two favourite colours).

CHNC Patterned Paper - July Challenge

I have used a paper from a paper pad.  I thought this one looked a bit like waves - do you see that too?  I added some "sand" in the form of mesh ribbon and then added some shell embellishments.  The image is from Paperbabe Stamps and the sentiment is from From The Heart Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I also coloured the inner of the sentiment die-cut with Distress Oxide.
