Happy Monday everyone! I have one daughter back to school tomorrow and the other two next Monday, then work life will get much easier for me :) In the meantime, check out some of my favourite recent finds...
I have Jen of Interiors Addict to thank for my first find - a Marble Macbook Skin. I've been looking for some kind of cover for my Macbook Pro for a while now, and this was the perfect solution for me. It comes all the way from Canada, but shipped relatively quickly, and was so easy to apply. You can see (below) that I chose a white marble skin, but they're also available in black marble - very cool!
These wall murals created in France are quite stunning, don't you think?! There is a range of equally amazing scenes to choose from, you can see them all here.
If you're interested in creating your own personalised wall mural (and purchasing it closer to home) our super talented sign writer can create photos and murals printed on a self adhesive material that is applied directly to the wall. He created this old fashioned world map for his son's room, and can do the same with any image you choose, as long as it's a reasonably high quality. If you live in Hawke's Bay contact me and I can help you order one.
Inspired by industrial crates these Bias Shelves look fantastic hung on the wall or used as a side table. Made in the US by Evan Clabots and Louis Filosa, they do ship internationally, and although NZ is not listed on their shipping page, you could try getting in touch for a shipping quote.
Last, but not least, this Chocolate Pumpkin Bread looks delicious! Pop a slice in the kids' lunchbox, they'll never know that they're eating veges :)

Tech Wish List
My eldest daughter turns 12 in a week, and it seems she shares my love of cool tech accessories - she's left me a ton of clues for birthday presents. The wish list below is mine, but it does cross over with my daughter's (she might get one of these if she's lucky). If you need a USB cable or a charger, you may as well make it a good looking one!

Birthday Wish List
Today is my birthday! Yay, it's shaping up to be a brilliant day. I decided the perfect post for today would be a selection of items on my wish list.
The Gerard Bar Cart is just a dream, as it would cost too much to ship it from Australia. I haven't been able to find similar in New Zealand, so maybe I'll have to have one made!
I really need one of these cute Back Me Up Mobile Chargers, as I often chew through my phone's battery life when I'm out & about.
I've already got the Absolutely Beautiful Things book on order, but it's not due til the end of the month - can't wait.
I love this Vince Camuto gold bangle, and the "V" for Vic is a sure sign it's meant for me.
This Hay chair has been on my wishlist for quite some time, and I really hope to have six of them around my dining table one day. Love, love, love!
I loved the first Roundie towel that was released, but this Moroccan-inspired Majorelle Roundie towel is my favourite, and a must for me this Summer.
I recently bought a MacBook Pro, so I can blog on the go, and now I need to find the perfect laptop bag. I'm a big fan of Clare Vivier, and her Oversize Clutch is a front runner.

Favourite Finds
It's been my last full week (for a while) with small children knocking around my feet! My eldest child started intermediate this week, which has been a big, and, so far, very successful step. And my two little ones are back to school next week. We've had a great school holiday, and it's been another fantastic week for new discoveries...
Wallpaper is a big love of mine. What's not to love?! Colour and pattern, it's a piece of art that covers your whole wall. As soon as I saw this new Coco tiger wallpaper by Studio Lisa Bengtsson I knew I had to find a place for it in my home. I'm not sure where yet, but the pink wallpaper needs to be in my life!
My iPhone plays a big part in my life - keeping in touch with everyone, it's my little portable office, I play music on it, watch tv programmes, and, of course, take lots of photos. I was pretty excited when I spotted this cool smart phone attachable lens by Sony in the latest Lonny magazine.
The lens can either be attached to your phone or it can be separated from your device and controlled remotely with the help of NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity. I'd love to try it to see if it would really turn my phone camera into a fully fledged digital camera. What I do know is that it looks amazing in this white and gold version (also available in boring old black!).
While the sun continues to shine here in New Zealand, we're enjoying soaking up the rays and living outdoors as much as possible. These amazing Giant Cloud Cushions by Lujo are my idea of alfresco relaxation. Measuring a generous 1.3 x 1.3m or 1.3 x 1.75m, they are a totally decadent lounging experience, inside or out.
Made from super soft Sunbrella fabrics, a waterproof inner liner, and heavenly soft polyester fibre, they have a carry handle and a corner zip pocket to pop your iPhone or book in - how perfect, they've thought of everything!
Thanks to my three gorgeous tween girls, whose lives seem to be ruled by music these days, I have discovered and fallen in love with Uncle Jed. These three cousins won the 2013 Australia's Got Talent, which has just finished airing here in NZ. Beautiful, beautiful music, I am totally hooked. These three are massively talented and, as family, have an incredible connection which is evident in their performances.
Have an excellent weekend everyone, and take a few minutes to soak up these gorgeous sounds...
