Washington State Missing Nurse, Mother of Three, May Be Victim of Brutal Murder

Neighbors said she went to a Mariners game with a man she met online and her friends reported the 40-year-old Renton, Washington woman missing when she failed to pick up her three children Saturday morning.

Body parts that were packaged in plastic bags and thrown into a recycling bin in Seattle this weekend have been identified as the mother-of-three who disappeared after she went on a date with a man she met online, police said.
Ingrid Lyne, 40, was last seen leaving to attend the Seattle Mariners opening game with a date on Friday, and raised alarms when she didn't pick up her children the next morning.
Her remains, which included a foot, were still 'fresh' when they were recovered on Saturday afternoon in a neighborhood about 2.7miles away from Safeco Stadium, an officer said.
Suspect John Robert Charlton, 37, who is believed to have taken Lyne to the game, was booked in jail on Monday afternoon while police investigate her murder, Seattle police said.

'All evidence leads in the direction of that missing woman,' Seattle Police Chief Kathleen O'Toole said at a news conference on Monday night.
A search warrant was issued, and evidence such as telephone call records led detectives to Charlton, who was booked into King County Jail Monday afternoon in connection to the murder, WREG reported.
Police believe Charlton was the man who took Lyne on a date, and said they do not believe there are additional suspects, the local news site reported.
Police desperately searched for Lyne, who worked as a nurse at the Swedish Medical Center, after friends reported she was missing on Saturday morning.
Police broke into her Renton, Washington home and found her purse and cellphone there. Her silver 2015 Toyota Highlander, with the plate number AUW3230, has not yet been recovered.
Three of Lyne's body parts were packaged in plastic bags, and found in the recycling bin outside a 21st Ave and E. Pine Street home at 4pm on Saturday.
The homeowner called 911 and homicide detectives and medical examiners confirmed the man's initial suspicions that the packages included human remains.
The body parts, which Seattle Police Sergeant Mike Renner said were still 'fresh' upon discovery, were taken to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
On Saturday night, homicide detectives learned that a missing persons report was filed that morning, and police identified the victim as Lyne.
Investigators said there is 'no reason to believe that there's any question of the victim's identity', but the King County Medical Examiner’s Office will not confirm this until after they perform an autopsy.

The investigation is ongoing, and Charlton has not been charged. His is currently held under a 'homicide investigation' with bail denied.
Neighbor Edward Franceschina says he last saw Lyne Friday afternoon, checking her mail.
Franceschina said he considers Lyne more like a daughter than a neighbor and was very worried.
'It’s not good, and the longer it goes on the more you think she’s not coming back,' Franceschina told Q13.

Dixon hired Dave Shepard, a friend to kill Joseph Sonnier, his rival also a doctor who lived in Lubbock, Texas. Sonnier's first wife divorced him after 27 years. She was murdered by her second husband, who then  killed himself. Sonnier had three sons. Dixon had one. The first trial ended without a verdict.

Three Gentlemen Arrested For Murder of Pregnant Wife Of Indiana Pastor

This is the teenager charged with the murder of an Indianapolis pastor's pregnant wife - but her widower has said he has chosen to forgive the alleged killer.
Larry Taylor, 18, Jalen Watson, 21, and Diano Gordon, 24, were arrested and taken into custody in connection with the homicide of Amanda Blackburn, 28.
At a press conference this afternoon, Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry announced that formal charges had been filed against the men.
Taylor is facing 13 charges, including murder, after the 'knowing and intentional killing' of Blackburn, Curry said.
Watson is charged with felony murder. Both he and Taylor face multiple burglary, robbery and theft charges. Gordon, who was in custody due to a parole violation, is also facing burglary charges.
Curry said that DNA testing was a big break in the investigation that resulted in murder, burglary and other charges being filed.
He said the testing points to one of the men charged as the person who was later recorded as using her stolen bank card.
However, Curry said there is not yet sufficient evidence to file sexual assault charges in the case.
He also said that a decision has not yet been made whether the death penalty will be sought against the two men facing murder charges.

Blackburn was 12 weeks pregnant when she was shot in the head as she tried to defend herself and her one-year-old son Weston when her house entered into on November 10. She died later in hospital.

Diano Gordon is facing burglary charges in connection to the case.

Jalen Watson, 21, is the second person facing murder charges in the killing of Amanda Blackburn. 

Watson and Gordon are in custody on parole violations. Taylor, who was previously taken into custody and released, was re-arrested at a relative's home on a preliminary charge of murder, according to police.


Larry Taylor, 18, is charged with the murder of Amanda Blackburn - but her the widower has said he has chosen to forgive the alleged killer.

Sources say a fourth individual who was aware of the robberies, burglaries and murder, but did not participate, was questioned and released, WTTV reported, adding that detectives collected evidence linking the trio to a previous rape and robbery at the Westlake Apartments where the suspects were living until early November.

Davey Blackburn posted a statement on his church's website where he said: 'It's impossible to communicate all the emotions my heart has been forced to process. My wife was such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God.

Police say Ramirez broke into Pharis’s home on July 24, raped her and beat her with a claw hammer, leaving her for dead before trying to break into another home.

Ramirez pled not guilty on Friday to charges of “attempted murder, first-degree burglary with person present, assault with intent to commit rape, sexual penetration by foreign object and resisting a peace officer,” according to HNGN. He also faces special allegations: “the use of a deadly weapon in a sex offense, causing great bodily injury in a sex offense, assault with a deadly weapon on an elderly person and a violent crime against a vulnerable victim,” according to the Santa Maria Times.
Pharis died eight days later. Ramirez may face additional charges for murder after an autopsy is conducted.
Police say they “don’t care” that Ramirez is an illegal alien, who rather than being detained and deported, was free to rampage through the neighborhood.

A jury's ruling today to sentence marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death is "justice" and a warning Boston "will not tolerate terrorism," survivors and police said after the verdict.
"This is nothing to celebrate. This is justice," said first-responder Michael Ward. “He wanted to go to hell and he’s gonna get there early."
The verdict against Tsarnaev, who'll turn 22 in July, was announced by U.S. District Court Judge George A. O'Toole Jr.'s courtroom clerk Paul Lyness. Tsarnaev showed no emotion as the verdict was read.
Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet-Davis, who lost a third of her left leg in the bombing, told the Herald she's "happy with the verdict."
"My heart goes out to everyone in the survivor community and to the victims' families," she added. "It's still a lot to process right now."
Only three of the 12 jurors bought into the defense argument that Tsarnaev was influenced by his older brother Tamerlan. The jurors unanimously agreed that Tsarnaev showed no remorse for the marathon attack and its aftermath that killed four young people, maimed 17 and injured hundreds.
The jurors unanimously voted to put him to death for the week of terror.

I’m far more hateful than Pamela Geller. In fact, I’d argue there’s no way that she could hate jihad more than I do. I’ve seen jihad up-close, in an Iraqi province where jihadists raped women to shame them into becoming suicide bombers, where they put bombs in little boys’ backpacks then remotely detonated them at family gatherings, where they beheaded innocent civilians while cheering wildly like they were at a soccer match, and where they shot babies in the face to “send a message” to their parents. I’ve seen the despair in the eyes of the innocent victims of jihad, and — believe me — that despair is infinitely greater than the alleged “anguish” caused by a few cartoons.

What we are dealing with now, is a post-political, post-religious phenomenon, rooted in deep, irreversible and very early psychological damage. People who shoot schoolchildren, by the hundreds, in the head; rape little girls in front of their parents; and behead people who disagree with them, have no feelings about what they do. They are beyond changing and, most sobering, they are beyond containment.
I’ve had two life-changing experiences that qualify me to comment on terrorism. Part of my undergraduate work took place in England (at Leeds University). I was an “American in Residence” in the development of the first American Studies program in the UK. Unbeknownst to me, I discovered, once I arrived in Leeds, that the university and the surrounding intellectual community, was the seat of the Communist Party in Europe, and the preferred school for the children of almost every brutal regime and fanatical movement in the world. (In particular, African, Middle Eastern, and Chinese rulers.)

My friend was getting extremely agitated and hostile. I asked him what was going on, and why he was so angry. His response was indelibly sobering and disturbing. He said, looking me right in the eye: “If I was told to kill you right now, I wouldn’t hesitate.” As stunned as I was, I asked him why, after all our time together, would he kill me? He replied, with no hesitation, “Because you’re an American and a Jew.”

Some were in the Mafia; some were free-lancers. All of them talked about killing people with the routineness and casualness of someone sharing a list of errands with a friend. They had absolutely no feelings about what they did, and when I asked them what they planned to do after their release, they all said the same thing: “Kill people.” A number of them added that killing people is just what they do, and they do it well.
What both of these experiences taught me was that there were people throughout the world that were so evil, disturbed, or whatever label you choose, that for the safety of all of us, they needed to be dead. Whatever residual naivete I had had, was obliterated by these experiences. I also learned that there are two kinds of naivete – humorous naivete and dangerous naivete. We live now, in a time of dangerous naivete.

On the one hand, we’re dealing with a very severe case of domestic pathological denial: Islam is not a religion of peace and it is frozen in time, somewhere around the 12th century. It is the only major world religion that has not undergone a reformation.
Secondly, Arab cultures without exception, have failed their people. I’ve always been amazed by the ability of Arab and non-Arab apologists who gloss over the daily brutality, the relegation of women to the status of domestic animals, and the endemic, grinding poverty of their citizens, who live in countries ruled by genetically blessed tyrants, hording billions of dollars that they’ve done nothing to earn.

Lastly, I’m continually puzzled by our own obliviousness to the connection between tribalism and poverty, as well as the threat we pose to sectarian forces throughout the world. America, with a handful of exceptions, is alone in requiring assimilation as a prerequisite to success and viability in our culture.

The failure of Arab cultures guarantees terrorist groups a constant flow of recruits. When your own society is so thoroughly corrupt and brutal, it is much less painful to demonize someone else, than to look inside and take responsibility for your own misery.

Mario Pulcini, as saying the bodies of two nuns were found Sunday afternoon by a third nun. He told Misna that during the night, other nuns telephoned to say they feared the attacker was still in the convent. When help arrived, the nun who had found the first two victims was herself found slain, Pulcini said.

A man imprisoned in New York for killing his son to collect on his life insurance is now charged with murdering his first wife in 1991 for the same reason.
The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports that Karl Karlsen was charged in Calaveras County, California, Friday with first-degree murder in the death of Christina Karlsen.
Karl Karlsen pleaded guilty in Seneca County in November to a charge of second-degree murder. He admits he allowed a truck to fall off a jack and onto his 23-year-old son, Levi, who was working underneath it in the town of Romulus in 2008.

Finding The Mass Murderers

What is missing from this essay, is one element that indicates a high risk of violence, i.e., persons who take psychiatric drugs. Even the drug-industry-controlled FDA requires a warning label on those violence-causing drugs. But again here is a prominent media outlet which is clueless of the causes of much violence in contemporary society. Only purveyors of those drugs are quoted in this essay. When will journalists learn? Or is the drug industry lobby strong enough to censor all references to their dangerous chemicals? The idea that only some people are capable of mass murder shows a lack of common sense. All humans are capable of such acts. It takes the essential conditions that make one violent. One way to prevent them is to make everyone aware of their own depraved capabilities. Of course politicians and journalists prefer the fantasy that "you are a nice person" or "you are a good person" and would not harm a fly unless it was open. But that shows a lack of understanding of human nature. It is always helpful to "keep the herd bewildered" (as Noam Chomsky describes propaganda in journalism).
