Sunflowers Everywhere #FM221

Good Friday morning!  Welcome back for another fun challenge with myself and the designers over at The Friday Mashup!  This week we are playing along with some fun colors and mashing it with flowers.  Come see what I created.....

Here's your Mashup Challenge this week:
  • Create a project using "Delightful Dijon, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry".
  • Create a project "Inspired by Summer Flowers".
  • or Mash it Up and create a "Summer Flowers Project using Delightful Dijon, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry".

What fun colors to play along with.  The delightful Dijon made me think of sun flowers so I pulled out one of my favorite retired big shot dies from Stampin' Up!...."Daisy".  I paired it with some background stamping using "Kinda Eclectic", one of my favorite stamp sets!  And you can't have sunflowers without some burlap!

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ crumb cake, very vanilla, delightful Dijon
DSP ~ bohemian
Ink ~ rich razzleberry, crumb cake
Stamp set ~ kinda eclectic
Misc. ~ burlap, daisy big shot die, paper doily

Leave some "love" and go see what the other designers created and play along.  We can't wait to see what you create for this weeks challenge!

Wedding Gift Bag!

Good morning crafters!  Thanks for joining me here today while I'm creating over Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  Today we are sharing fun creative projects using any of the three punch boards from Stampin' Up!

My niece got married just this past weekend so I needed a small gift bag to put her gift inside.  Yes, small, cause she got $$ to put towards getting them a washer/dryer set for their new home.  I created this gift bag using the all new Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin'.  It can create three different sizes but in any height from 4-12 in.  I also tried to decorate the outside the go along with her card using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  You can click here to go see it!

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ crumb cake, whisper white, vellum
Stamp set ~ kinda eclectic, for the new two
Ink ~ pool party, basic black, crumb cake
Misc. ~ burlap ribbon, rhinestones, flower from the petite punch set, butterfly punches, paper doily, natural twine, venetian crochet trim

I hope you have enjoyed my gift bag.  Leave some "love" and go see which punch board the other designers used and what they created with it.

December Color Challenge #SSINKCC16

Good Monday morning!  Its not only December 1st but its the 1st Monday of the month and its time for another color challenge over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  I just love this combination and I hope you will too.  So get to creating and come play along with us this week!

So I love Christmas and all, matter of fact I'm in the middle of decorating now, but I will be honest to say, I needed to move on from so many recent Christmas/holiday cards.  I wanted to create a different style card, so I pulled out a set I haven't played with in a while.  Kinda Eclectic is one of my favorites from the full catalog.  There is just so much you can create with it.

I have a couple December birthdays coming up, so I decided to create and fun and stylish birthday card with it, mixed also with a little Works of Art.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ whisper white
Ink ~ lost lagoon, cherry cobbler and basic black
Stamp sets ~ work of art, kinda eclectic
Misc. ~ black bakers twine, rhinestones, cherry cobbler blendabilities, basics hodgepodge clips
Punches ~ elegant butterfly and bitty butterfly

Again, thanks for stopping by.  Don't forget to head on over to our main blog site to see what the other designers have created.  We hope to INKspire you to play along with us.

Kinda Eclectic

Good morning and thanks for stopping by my blog.  Today I am over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and we are sharing projects made using the Stampin' Up! Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  I have been waiting patiently to get my hands on this set too.  About a month or so before Convention, Stampin' Up! release the list of stamp sets we would be getting in our bag for our make and takes.  I was so excited that this was one of those sets, but bummed at the same time that I had to wait until July 16th to get my hands on it.  But it was well worth the wait!  This is actually the first card that I have made with it.

I used blackberry bliss as my base and then a layer of very vanilla which I stamped on.  I cut a 2-3/4"x4" vanilla layer and cut the center our with a circle framelit and embossed it with the large polka dotted folder.  I then glued it over top the stamping and centered the sun in the middle of the cut out.  I stamped my sentiment on a cut out banner and added the beautiful butterfly to the side.

No card is complete, without a little stamping on the inside too.
