DON'T you just LOVE IT?!!

So I kept my card really simple in design cause I wanted my new lacy in color trim to really stand out and be the main focal.  I used my polka dotted stencil and sponged on some circles in watermelon wonder and stamped a simple "thinking of you" from the Crazy About You stamp set,  I added a few rhinestones cause...well...sometimes you just need to add some bling and sparkle!!

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ watermelon wonder, whisper white
Ink ~ watermelon wonder
Stamp set ~ Crazy About You
Misc. ~ polka dot stencil, watermelon lacy trim, basic rhinestones, sponge daubers

Thanks for stopping by today and checking out Watermelon Wonder, leave some "love" and go check out what our other designers created.  We hope you love it just as much as we do!  Be sure to come back tomorrow and see another brand new color!!

Favorite Retiring Stamp Set!

Good Friday morning!  There is two words I love to hear:  1)  the word Friday and 2) the word Coffee, and when the two happen on the same day, well... I'm a happy girl!  Today I am over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and we are sharing a favorite retiring stamp set or item from Stampin' Up!  Don't wait to much longer to get your hands on any of these items, cause everything will be gone come June 3rd!!

Perfect Blend is one of my favorite stamp sets and will remain on my stampin' shelves.   Its so cute for a simple stamping or to stamp and layer with DSP which I have done on my above card.  I used the bottom of a coffee cup to stamp the rings on my background layer as well as the ink splatter from the gorgeous grunge stamp set in one of the new 2015 in colors...tip top taupe!

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ very vanilla, tip top taupe
Ink ~ Bermuda bay, tip top taupe
Stamp sets ~ gorgeous grunge, perfect blend
Misc. ~ coffee cup, Bermuda bay sequins, circle framelit set

I hope you have enjoyed my card, leave some love and head on over to the main blog site of SSINK and see what the other designers created using their favorite retiring item.

Water Colored Dahlia FM211

I decided to pull out another one of my favorite retiring stamp sets called "regarding dahlias".  Its so pretty stamped on its own or for coloring, and since part of the challenge this week is water coloring, I decided to pull out my aqua painter and do some fun water coloring on my flower.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ water coloring paper, island indigo, pink pirouette
Ink ~ island indigo
Stamp set ~ regarding dahlias
Misc. ~ basic pearls, pink pirouette chevron ribbon, aqua painter

I hope you have enjoyed my challenge card this week.  Leave some love and head on over to The Friday Mashup and see what the other designers have been up too!

Butterflies and Lace FM210

Good Friday morning you crafty bloggers!  Today is that special day we all love and look forward too!  It's FRIDAY!!!!  And what better day to have an all new challenge at The Friday Mashup!
Its my design week to create the challenge for you, hope you love it as much as I do and you'll come get crafty with me!

This week's Mashup! Challenge is:

  • Create a project using "Lace on it".
  • or Mash it Up! and create a project using "Butterflies and Lace".

My niece is getting married in a couple of weeks and I have been asked to make some wedding cards for a couple of our family members.  I just love how simple this one is but how beautiful it looks with the butterfly and lace trim.  If you look closely, you'll see that I am using one of the new Stampin' Up! 2015 In Colors.....Cucumber Crush!  Its such a wonderful Spring/Summer green.  I have a feeling its gonna become my favorite green.  I also am using the new cucumber crush sheer lace trim and wrapped it around a piece of burlap ribbon.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ tip top taupe, very vanilla, cucumber crush
Ink ~ tip top taupe, cucumber crush
Stamp sets ~ for the new two and something lacy
Misc. ~ cucumber crush sheer lace trim, apothecary accents framelit set, basic pearls, burlap ribbon, natural twine, butterfly basics framelit set
