TEXAS YARD SALEN

I'm home!  It is so good to be back.  Mr ALC and Charlie were glad to see me also!   I have been so busy since I returned late Thursday but I wanted to post what I found yard salen in Texas last weekend! I was so lucky to find this orphan scarecrow S & P
He was all by himself and 25 cents
Isn't he cute!! \
Another orphan S&P
This funny little guy cost 10 cents
Marked made in Japan
He makes me smile!

I also picked up
This bowl for 25 cents
It will be great for Thanksgiving
These metal leaves were 50 cents
I am sure they will be used in a tablescape

I picked up this squirrel several times and finally bought him for 50 cents.  Not sure what he is for but I just could not leave him!
Not too bad for my last yard sales in Texas!
(well last of this trip)
I am linking up with these two parties

Nice finds. Those leaves look like they will make nice napkin rings. And that squirrel will look adorable with some nuts scattered about the table as well.

I saw a four piece blow mold nativity set for the front yard at a thrift store today. It was only $8.00 and I am kicking myself for not buying it. The husband was with me and said we had no room at the inn for it, so I walked away from it. You know how it is, buy it now or it won't be there when you go back. Boo hoo!~ Ames

Linda, the great finds seem to find you! I love both of the salt shakers. That fish is just sooo cute! What pretty metal leaves. I'm wondering if that wire is supposed to bend upward to be used for a place card holder?? Thanks so much for linking to Favorite Things, and welcome home. laurie

Great Finds Linda! I would have fought you for the squirrel. I had someone give me a broken cast iron nutcracker that was a squirrel one time, then I sold it. I kick myself every so often because of it. Love the shakers too!
