Voor Pion design maakte ik dit kleine vriendschapsboekje

For Pion Design I created this little book of friendship

Ik gebruikte de From My heart-collectie

I used the From My heart-collection

Zelf wat kantjes, pareltjes, taartkleedjes, kraftzakjes en labels toegevoegd

Added some lace, pearls, doilies, little kraftbags and tags myself

Op elke pagina is er ruimt genoeg om wat lieve woorden te schrijven

On each page there's space enough to write some lovely words

De nostalgische plaatjes komen van de Grandma's Attic vellen

The vintage pics are from the Grandma's Attic sheets

De hartjes, labeltjes, vlinders en tekstjes knipte ik uit de die cut vellen

The hearts, tags, butterflies and tags I cut from the die cut sheets

Natuurlijk heb ik alle randjes weer gedistressed met m'n schaartje en distress inkt

Of course I distressed all the edges with my little scissor and distress ink

Valentine's Banner And More Knitting

Volgende week is het alweer Valentijns dag! De liefde hangt in de lucht!
Voor Pion Design maakte ik deze "love"-banner, dat papier is trouwens ook om verliefd op te worden!

Next week it will be Valentine's Day! Love is in the air!
I made this "love"-banner for Pion Design, I'm totally in love with these papers!

Ik gebruikte 4 mdf hartjes (dat eigenlijk een albumpje vormt) en beplakte ze met het rood geruite papier

I used 4 mdf hearts ( it's actually a mini album) and sticked the red checked papers on them

Met de Big Shot stanste ik de hartjes, van een sierrand, die met de roosjes, maakte ik een soort van wimpel met daaronder een stukje gerimpeld kant en parelketting

I used the Big shot to punch the hearts, and from a trim of the die cut paper, the one with the roses, I made a kind of pennant, among it a piece of ruffled lace and pearl chain

Ik gebruikte m'n schaartje en distress inkt om de hartjes een beetje een shabby look te geven, knipte de vlinders uit het die cut vel en plakte een houten knoopje onderaan, de letters maakte ik met de Slice

I used my little scissor and distress ink to give the hearts a shabby look, cut out the butterflies from the die cut sheet and added a wooden button, made the letters with my Slice

Onder de harten plakte ik een hart van creme vilt, dat ik wat ruimer uitknipte met de golfjes schaar, als laatste knipte ik gaatjes in de harten en hing ze op met een stukje smal kant

At the back of the hearts I glued a heart of cream felt which I cut out first with a scalloped scissor, last but not least I punched 2 holes in each heart to hang them up with a small piece of lace

Klaar voor mijn geliefde, hahaha!

Ready for my love, hahaha!

En een kleine brei-up date, ben nu met het 5e blok bezig en owww... wat is het weer heerlijk om 's avonds een paar toertjes te breien!

And a little knitting up date, I'm on the 5th block now and oh my... it's good to knit again!

Party Time + Give Away At Pion Design!

Vandaag bestaat het blog van Pion Design 1 jaar! En ze vieren een fantastisch feestje! Wil je kans maken op het winnen van hun prachtige papier? Nou, kijk dan maar eens op hun blog en volg de (makkelijke) stappen, veel succes! En dat hun papier prachtig is dat weet ik zeker, afgelopen week bracht de postbode me dit pakket:

Today the Pion Design blog turns 1 year today! And they've a great party going on! Do you want to make a change to win some of their gorgeous papers? Well, take a look at their blog and follow the (easy) steps, good luck! And I know their papers are beautiful for sure, last week this package was handed me over by the mailman (or woman actually!):

Owww... ik was zóóó benieuwd! Kon niet wachten om het open te maken!

Owww... I was sóóó excited! Couldn't wait to open it!

En al dit moois lag tussen het vloeipapier, ik was maar aan het oh-en en ah-en, papiertje voor papiertje, was blij dat ik alleen thuis was, ze zouden hier gedacht hebben dat ik niet helemaal goed geworden was, hahaha!!!

And these beauties were lying between the tissue papers, I was oh-ing and ah-ing all the time, paper for paper, I was glad I was home alone, the other members of the family would have thought I was going totally nuts, hahaha!!!!

Ik vond het bijna jammer dat ik moest werken afgelopen dagen, het papier riep (nou ja zeg maar gerust: schreeuwde) me gewoon! Maar zondag wordt mijn dag, niemand mag me storen, ik ben aan het werk!

It was almost a pity I had to work the last couple of days, cause these papers are calling (or should I say: screaming!) my name! But Sunday will be my day, no-one may disturb me, I'll be creating!

Pion Design Guest Designer!

Oh meiden, ik ben zóóó blij en trots! Ik behoor tot de selectie gastdesigners van Pion Design!!!

Oh my gosh girls, I'm sóóó happy and proud! I made it to the gorgeous Pion Design Team as a guest designer!!!

I've tried and tried, but I don't know how to fix it, this time it has nothing to do with staying registered on my account, Blogger doesn't accept my browser anymore??? Now I'm blogging via Google Chrome, but it doesn't help... a solution anyone??

News, News, News!!!

Eindelijk, hier is het dan: het "geheime" projekt waar ik voor de zomer zo druk mee was! Het prachtige en zeer inspirerende magazine van Rosa Dotje! Voor degenen die er nog niet bekend mee zijn: Rosa Dotje is de eigen lijn van Gepke, eigenaresse van webwinkel Your Zoap. Er zijn diverse lijnen, van romantisch tot vrolijk en stoer, allemaal heel verschillend maar wel in dezelfde landelijke stijl. Ik mocht de stoere Marine uit Holland serie gebruiken:

Finally here it is: the "secret" project I was working on before the Summer! It's the very beautiful and inspiring Rosa Dotje magazine ! For the ones who aren't familiar with it yet: Rosa Dotje is the paperline the owner Gepke of Your Zoap has designed herself. She designed different lines, from romantic to bright or tough but in the same country style. I had the honour to use the Navy from Holland line:

En allerlei atributen voor een stoer jongensfeestje, zoals deze slinger. Ik heb dit allemaal ook in het rood gemaakt zodat het ook voor een echt meidenfeest geschikt is. Nieuwsgierig geworden naar alle projekten, ook van Gepke zelf, haar dochter Mandy, Jeanet en Anneke? Het magazine is te bestellen bij Your Zoap!
Echt, het is zóóó leuk!!!

And different designs for a tough birthday party for boys, like this garland. I also made everything in red so it's suitable for a girls party too. Curious to all the projects, also from Gepke herself, her daughter Mandy, Jeanet and Anneke? The magazine is to order at Your Zoap! It's really darn pretty!

Verder wil ik jullie hier nog m'n laatste creatie laten zien, sommigen van jullie zullen dit huisje al op m'n andere blog gezien hebben. Dit chipboard huisje had ik al heel lang in huis, ooit eens gemaakt als een voorbeeld voor een beurs, maar het papier dat ik daarvoor moest gebuiken was niet helemaal mijn smaak, dit schitterende Pion papier wel! Het is een adressenbakje geworden en staat dan ook naast de telefoon.

Further on I want to show you my latest creation, some of you might have seen it on my other blog. I had this chipboard house for a long time already, made it once as an example for a craft fair, but the papers I had to use then were not exactly my cup cup of tea, these gorgeous Pion papers are! It has become an address box and it's next the telephone obviously.

Gebruikte materialen: dessin papier Pion Design / chipboard huisje Maya Road (?) / kant / knoopjes 2 maten / witte acrylverf / adressenvulling (Hema)
Alles, behalve het huisje en de vulling, komt bij Your Zoap vandaan, maar zij verkoopt wel hele leuke alternatieven voor dit huisje.

Op naar een creatief 2012!!!

Vintage Wallhanger

Ik had nog wat papier over, het mdf frame had ik al in huis, dus ik besloot om opnieuw een vintage projekt te maken. Het weer is nog steeds hopeloos, dus tijd om wat leuks te doen! M'n nieuwe borderpunch lag al ongeduldig op me te wachten (en owww... wat istie leuk!)

I had some papers left, and I already had this mdf frame, so I decided to make another vintage project. The weather is still terrible, so time to do some fun things! My new borderpunch was waiting for me impatiently (and owww... it's so cute!)

Some details:

Natuurlijk gebruikte ik het prachtige rozenlint weer! De oude klos komt uit eigen voorraad

Of course I used the gorgeous rose ribbon again! The vintage spool comes from my stock

Dit is m'n nieuwe punch! Voegde er plakparels aan toe en maakte een banner

Ik knipte het kleine meisje uit en gaf haar vlindervleugeltjes

I cut out the little girl and gave her butterfly wings

Vintage Shadowbox

Man oh man... wat een verschrikkelijk weer! Het regent de hele dag al pijpestelen... Maar het is wel perfect weer om lekker te freubelen!

My oh my... what a terrible wheater! It's pouring with rain all day long.. But it's really a good time to do some fun crafty things!

Ik nam een klein houten doosje met een glasplaatje, schilderde het wit

I took a little wooden box with a frame, painted it white

En beplakte het met het prachtige papier van Pion Design en héél veel kant

And adhered the beautiful papers of Pion Design and lots and lots of lace

Ik ben verliefd op de schitterende vlinders en gaf ze net dat beetje extra door er een zelfklevende parel op te plakken

I'm in love with the gorgeous butterflies and gave them a little extra by adding a self adhesive pearl on them

En de binnenkant. Het schattige meisje komt van het vel Little Sweeties from Grandma's Attic (ook Pion Design)

And the inside. The cute little girl is a die cut from the Little Sweeties from Grandma's Attic paper (also Pion Design)

Zucht... vind dit rozenlint echt helemaal te gek!

Sigh... love the rose ribbon to pieces!

Boven op het boeketje heb ik een vlindertje geplakt om het iets meer diepte te geven

On top of the bouquet I put a little butterfly for more depth

Het is echt zo leuk om zoiets te maken!

It's really fun making something like that!
