I used the From My heart-collection

Zelf wat kantjes, pareltjes, taartkleedjes, kraftzakjes en labels toegevoegd

Added some lace, pearls, doilies, little kraftbags and tags myself

Op elke pagina is er ruimt genoeg om wat lieve woorden te schrijven

On each page there's space enough to write some lovely words

De nostalgische plaatjes komen van de Grandma's Attic vellen

The vintage pics are from the Grandma's Attic sheets

De hartjes, labeltjes, vlinders en tekstjes knipte ik uit de die cut vellen

The hearts, tags, butterflies and tags I cut from the die cut sheets

Natuurlijk heb ik alle randjes weer gedistressed met m'n schaartje en distress inkt

Of course I distressed all the edges with my little scissor and distress ink

Some Oldies

Een paar oude l.o.'s van vorig jaar die ik maakte met het geweldige October Afternoon papier voor het ScrapBookMagazine:

Just a couple of old l.o.'s I made last year with the gorgeous October Afternoon papers for the Dutch ScrapBookMagazine:

Vandaag staat ook in het teken van scrappen, ik heb de nieuwe lijn van Rosa Dotje in huis (jeetje wat is die gááf zeg! Kijk maar eens op haar blog voor een superleuke give away!) en de prachtige papiertjes van Pion Design liggen me smekend aan te kijken. Het was de laatste tijd zo rommelig met van alles en nog wat dat het scrappen er een beetje bij ingeschoten is, maar daar komt vandaag dus verandering in!

Today I will be scrapping, I've received the wonderful new line from Rosa Dotje (take a look on her blog for a fantastic give away!) and the beautiful Pion Design papers are also staring at me. I had no time to scrap lately, days flew by so chaotic, but today I'll make it up, today I'll be scrapping!

News, News, News!!!

Eindelijk, hier is het dan: het "geheime" projekt waar ik voor de zomer zo druk mee was! Het prachtige en zeer inspirerende magazine van Rosa Dotje! Voor degenen die er nog niet bekend mee zijn: Rosa Dotje is de eigen lijn van Gepke, eigenaresse van webwinkel Your Zoap. Er zijn diverse lijnen, van romantisch tot vrolijk en stoer, allemaal heel verschillend maar wel in dezelfde landelijke stijl. Ik mocht de stoere Marine uit Holland serie gebruiken:

Finally here it is: the "secret" project I was working on before the Summer! It's the very beautiful and inspiring Rosa Dotje magazine ! For the ones who aren't familiar with it yet: Rosa Dotje is the paperline the owner Gepke of Your Zoap has designed herself. She designed different lines, from romantic to bright or tough but in the same country style. I had the honour to use the Navy from Holland line:

En allerlei atributen voor een stoer jongensfeestje, zoals deze slinger. Ik heb dit allemaal ook in het rood gemaakt zodat het ook voor een echt meidenfeest geschikt is. Nieuwsgierig geworden naar alle projekten, ook van Gepke zelf, haar dochter Mandy, Jeanet en Anneke? Het magazine is te bestellen bij Your Zoap!
Echt, het is zóóó leuk!!!

And different designs for a tough birthday party for boys, like this garland. I also made everything in red so it's suitable for a girls party too. Curious to all the projects, also from Gepke herself, her daughter Mandy, Jeanet and Anneke? The magazine is to order at Your Zoap! It's really darn pretty!

Verder wil ik jullie hier nog m'n laatste creatie laten zien, sommigen van jullie zullen dit huisje al op m'n andere blog gezien hebben. Dit chipboard huisje had ik al heel lang in huis, ooit eens gemaakt als een voorbeeld voor een beurs, maar het papier dat ik daarvoor moest gebuiken was niet helemaal mijn smaak, dit schitterende Pion papier wel! Het is een adressenbakje geworden en staat dan ook naast de telefoon.

Further on I want to show you my latest creation, some of you might have seen it on my other blog. I had this chipboard house for a long time already, made it once as an example for a craft fair, but the papers I had to use then were not exactly my cup cup of tea, these gorgeous Pion papers are! It has become an address box and it's next the telephone obviously.

Gebruikte materialen: dessin papier Pion Design / chipboard huisje Maya Road (?) / kant / knoopjes 2 maten / witte acrylverf / adressenvulling (Hema)
Alles, behalve het huisje en de vulling, komt bij Your Zoap vandaan, maar zij verkoopt wel hele leuke alternatieven voor dit huisje.

Your Zoap Design Team Work

Deze l.o. maakte ik al hééél lang geleden, na een hele lange tijd van afwezigheid in scrapland, het was dus echt weer een nieuw begin voor me. Ik had 'em jullie nog niet eerder laten zien. Ik maakte deze met de geweldige lijn van Rosa Dotje als design team lid van Your Zoap.
En over Your Zoap gesproken:

This l.o. I made a lóóóng time ago, but I've never showed you before. I made this one with the gorgeous line from Rosa Dotje as a design team member of Your Zoap.

And talking of Your Zoap:

Ik kocht al deze overheerlijke spulletjes op de brocante fair afgelopen zondag, gehouden in mijn zusjes bloemenwinkel, waar Your Zoap ook een kraampje had. Genoeg kerstornamentjes om te beschilderen en decoreren. Ik heb al besloten ze vrij simpel te houden, hahaha, ik wil ze wel af hebben voor de 25e!

I bought all these lovely goodies at the brocante fair last Sunday, held at my sisters flowershop, Your Zoap had a little booth there too. Lots of christmas ornaments to paint and decorate. I've already decided to keep it simple, hahaha, cause I want to have it finished before the 25th!

Ik ben gewoon helemaal verliefd op het rood/witte Divine Twine, en om niet meer mis te grijpen kocht ik een hele klos.

I'm in love with the red/white Divine Twine so I bought a whole spool this time.

Bj m'n zusjes winkel Bloembinderij Ma-d'r-Liefjes kocht ik deze kaarten met kant (je ziet ze achterin staan), die zijn zóóó prachtig!

At my sisters shop I bought the lace cards (you can see them at the back), they are sóóó beautiful!

En ook deze nog en de kaart met garen. Ik heb alles binnen handbereik staan in m'n kleine ateliertje.

And this one too, and the thread card. I've everything in an arm's reach in my little crafty space.

Hier heb ik de afgelopen tijd aan gewerkt, hier zijn ze nog niet af. Ik maakte 4 huisjes met de geweldige nieuwe kerstlijn van Rosa Dotje. Ze zijn inmiddels af, maar ik ben er vergeten foto's van te nemen, suf hè! Nu staan ze als kerstdorpje in Gepke's huis. En voor het geval het jullie nog niet opgevallen was: de mdf schaatsjes en hobbelpaardjes (op de 2e foto) zijn hetzelfde als die op het papier! Dus super om te combineren! Verder komen alle kantjes, bandjes, knoopjes, pareltjes en huisjes ook bij Your Zoap vandaan.

Nou, dan ga ik nu maar eens de sintkadootjes inpakken en wat korte, maar snedige rijmen in elkaar flansen!

This is what I've been working at. I made four cute little houses with the gorgeous new Christmas line from Rosa Dotje. They're finished in the meantime but I forgot to take pics of them, oh foolish me. Now they are in Gepke's home as a little Christmas village. And in case you didn't notice: the mdf skates and rocking horses (on the second pic) are similar to the ones on the paper! So great to combine!

Well girls, time to wrap the Saint Nicholas presents and make some short but sharp-minded rhymes!

One Secret Exposed!

Een tijdje geleden vertelde ik jullie al dat ik druk bezig was met een aantal dingen maar dat ik jullie nog niet kon zeggen waarmee. Nou, één van die dingen is dus dat ik weer in het ScrapBookMagazine sta! Een aantal van jullie hadden het al gezien, bedankt meiden voor jullie lieve en ondersteunende mailtjes!

Some time ago I told you I was busy doing things but I couldn't tell you about it. Well one of those things is the fact I'm designing for the Dutch ScrapBookMagazine again! Some of you already noticed it, thanks girls for your sweet and supporting mails!

Deze heeft de publicatie niet gehaald, maar ik wilde 'em jullie wel graag laten zien, vooral omdat de journaling voor mij heel belangrijk is. (Het moederschap is niet alleen maar rozegeur en maneschijn! Zucht...)

This one didn't make it, but I wanna show it to you anyway, cause the journaling is very important to me. (Motherhood is not only a bed of roses! Sigh...)

CFY #18: Happy Feet!!

Mijn uitwerking

My result

De inspiratiebron: maak een vrolijke en zomerse layout (of kaart, of wat dan ook), zonder zwart, donkerbruin of kraft cardstock te gebruiken

The source of inspiration: create a happy summer layout (or card or whatever), without using black, dark brown or kraft cardstock

De wolkjes knipte ik uit een dessinvel, de zon maakte ikzelf, net als de vlaggetjeslijn

The clouds I cut out a pp, the sun and the banner I made myself

Met de cirkelsnijder sneed ik rondjes uit, het woordje Summer Days is het merkje van Echo Park
With the circle cutter I made circles, the word Summer Days is the brand of Echo Park

De vlinders zijn gesneden met de Big Shot

The butterflies I cut with the Big Shot

De golfjes zijn uit een dessinvel gesneden en in laagjes met 3d tape opgeplakt zodat je er meer diepte in krijgt

The waves are cut from a pp and adhered with 3d tape, to get more depth

De foto is van vorig jaar, genomen tijdens de zomervakantie in België. Bij onze caravan wordt elke zomer het zwembad opgezet door de mannen waar dankbaar door alle kids (12 stuks in totaal) gebruik van wordt gemaakt.Hier staan Tim en Luuk op z'n kop, een favoriet onderdeel!

The picture is from last year, taken during the Summer Holidays in Belgium. At our caravan the men place the swimming pool every Summer so all the kids (12 in all) can use it. And they do! Here you can see Tim and Luuk upside down, a favorite part!

Project 19:

Eindelijk heb ik m'n ladenblokje ( een echte Ikea!) een make over gegeven (bedankt Jen voor het laatste zetje!)

Finally I gave my little chest of drawers ( a real Ikea-one!) a make over (thanks Jen for giving me a push!)

Dit zijn een paar van de Maja Design papiertjes die ik een paar weken terug kocht bij Paper and Pictures en ik vond ze helemaal super voor dit project!

These are some of the Maja Design papers I bought at Paper and Pictures a few weeks ago and I thought they would be great for this project!

Ik gooide rood en beige in de mix en vind het zelf wel erg leuk geworden zo. Ik heb het simpel gehouden, maar in m'n huis hou ik wel van een beetje simpel, het staat al vol genoeg.

I mixed and matched the red and beige ones and love the final result. I kept it simple, but in my home I love simple things.

Project 20

Ik had nog wat papier over en besloot m'n notitieboekje en pennenbakje ook een make over te geven. In dezelfde simpele stijl.

I had some papers left so I decided to give my little notebook and pen-tray a little make over too. In the same simple style.

Al m'n knutselbenodigdheden bij de hand!

All my craft necessities at hand!

Gisteren volgde Gepke mijn workshop en bracht haar prachtige nieuwe papierlijn (en m'n bestelde, schitterende rozenlint!) mee. Ik vind het echt super!

Yesterday Gepke followed my workshop and brought her beautiful new paperline (and my ordered gorgeous rose ribbons!) with her. I love it!

Kan niet wachten om er aan te beginnen!
