San Man Originals “Funky Button Flowers”, Stitched on 32c “Chocolate Box” Hand-dyed evenweave from the pots of Jayne's Attic using DMC threads. Finished as a pouch.(credit to Vivian for the photo…mine was not very good)
I had a little trip to the Range and bought a few bits and bobs…some lilac and pink felt sheets, pastel buttons, a selection of spring coloured ribbon reels, some little storage boxes and this lovely wool…this is to knit a scarf for my niece…
….the colours in this wool are so “cheery”…my niece is not a girly girl so these colours should be perfect for her!
We also went to visit my grandparents yesterday afternoon…the children loved bouncing on their beds like trampolines…lol…my Gran has started to teach me to crochet…I started with the chain stitch yesterday…oh my it’s tricky…but she said I have to practice…so I will!
She gave me these wonderful books….they are older than me but have so much in them…
She also gave me this gorgeous wooden box….and inside was…
all these….all her crochet needles and other knitting needles, sock needles etc…she said she doesn’t need them any more so I could have them and make use of them.
It was TSG SAL night last night…and here is my progress..I added some smaller motifs and the date last night. I am so surprised how quickly this is stitching up with only one evenings stitching each week….
I have been stitching on some exchange pieces and gifts so I have no other stitching to show….
I spent this afternoon having a stash cabinet tidy and sort out….I will be chart sorting in the next day or so…I will post when the goodies are for sale!!
