For some reason my blogger account makes the pictures blurry--so frustrating! So sorry if this picture isn't totally clear! I made the papers of the August kit "Picnic Basket",the highlight of this page by making my pictures small.  I used some Girls' paperie stickers from Pixie July Kit "Midsummer Night's Dream" on here as well. And I love these butterfly cardstock stickers--I paired one up with a tag sticker from Cosmo Cricket in the kit as well. I thought it looked pretty cute over my pictures!

One of the best parts about this kit is that a lot of the patterned papers have items you can cut out to use as embellishments--like this pendant banner. I love how it perfectly matches the patterned papers and it's easy to cut out! I added it with some tulle on the sides topped off with a button. The sticker on the bottom is from Cosmo Cricket--I added my sentiment stamp and tucked it underneath the paper with the banner on it.

Vintage girl Card by Kandis Smith

 

I wish I could turn these papers into clothes and wear them! They are my most favorite colors right now---robin blue, red, and mustard yellow! Not kidding-- it's the colors I did my living room in! haha I  paired up the floral paper with the dictionary paper, then cut out this little girl from the patterned paper. The Cosmo Cricket stickers are so fun! I ran a border sticker down the seam of the two  patterned papers and then used a tag sticker to the side of the little girl. A simple, but fun card!

Fleet of butterflies card by Kandis Smith

 

I love all the bright floral patterns in this kit! I wanted to layer the fun patterned papers on this card so I used strips of each kind and layered them on the card. I rounded the corners and stamped my sentiment on the top of the card. Then the butterflies just begged to be added to the flowery goodness! ;)  I cut a strip of the pink gingham ribbon and tucked it behind the top butterfly.

Designer Day 3 ~ Star Smile layout by Kandis Smith

 

The colors in this kit are so classicly beautiful.  You really can't go wrong with any combination of papers and embellishments! I matched up the aqua cardstock with the yellow plaid and the pendant banner patterned papers. I love these little tissue paper flowers and they look fantastic spread across the page! I added some Girl's Paperie stickers from last months kit and also used the Cosmo Cricket stickers that come in the kit!

Celebrate card by Kandis Smith

I went a little card crazy with this kit--there are soooo many goodies, I couldn't help it! Here's one of them. I cut out some butterflies from the different patterned papers and adhered them to one of my index cards. Then tied the orange seam binding around it too before adhering it to the card. I topped it off with some letter stickers to spell celebrate!

Dreamer Layout by Kandis Smith

 

I think I say this every month--but I think this is my favorite kit! :) I just loved all the bright, yet soft colors of this kit! I decided to do a layout on me. I really liked these photos I took of myself last week when I was trying out a new hair style. I used the Girls' Paperie stickers on here--the K, the word stickers, the label stickers, and the border sticker. Using my scallop circle punch I made two circles with the patterned paper and layered them with the sculpture flowers--one of my favorite things in this kit!

Adoring Nanny Layout by Kandis Smith

 

These soft and sweet papers make for wonderful baby pages! I thought they complimented this picture of my Nanny holding baby Cooper perfectly! I added a large N sticker for Nanny and also another blue charm with a word sticker over top from Girls' Paperie. I also lined them up along the right side of my picture to describe my nanny!

Sweet Angel Card by Kandis Smith

I was so excited to see these fun squares on the back of the patterned paper--look at that sweet angel? I paired it up with the ruler border sticker from the Girls' Paperie pad. I added two of the felt flowers and a little bow from the Pixie Crinkled Ribbon --I like how it looks like leaves peeking out from behind the flowers.

Amazing card by Kandis Smith

 

This kit is filled with so many juicy tidbits! I love these little charms--they go so well with these sweet papers! I paired it up with an index card(flip notes included in the kit) covered in vintage flowers. I added letter and word stickers from Girls's paperie as well--a simple card with lots of character. 

Tip: Use foam dots-- a lot! It can be the one thing that takes that card to the next level! It just adds so much depth to your design!

Designer Day 3 ~ Happy Birthday Card by Kandis smith

 

These flowers are so easy to make--just the basic rolled flower! Handcut some leaves from the brown polka dot paper and adhered them under the flowers with some green seam binding as well. These little letter stickers are perfect for cards because you can spell out any thing you want and it will still fit on the card! Love that!
