"I Am Yours" Layout by Jessy Christopher

The title was inspired by Jason Mraz's song called "I'm Yours". It was a hit when it was first released & actually I still enjoy listening to it.

Another layout created using "Floribunda" kit & love the Glitz papers!!

The rub-on and the fabric flower are from past kit that you can check them out HERE! The memo pins by Tim Holtz are just brilliant!!

Totally loving the alpha by Pink Paislee!! You can distress it to give a vintage look :)

Have fun scrapping!
Xoxo Jessy

Kirsty's Note -
With this beautiful layout, we are sadly saying goodbye to Jessy today. Jessy has been a super sweet Pixie since Pixie Dust Paperie started in October 2010. Months after months she has provided beautiful samples for our viewers at The Pixie Blog, she is not just talented, the dedication that Jessy has shown over the last few months has been such a blessing to all of us. We had so much fun with her and her talent is outstanding and will be greatly missed.
THANK YOU JESSY!!!!!
For being such a sweet Pixie and for your contribution during your DT term with Pixie Dust Paperie!

Pixie Easter Decor by Kirsty Vittetoe

I am definitely a hoarder, paper hoarder.....
I won't throw any bits and pieces of paper away, even it is as small as one inch, not only I have a few boxes of scraps, I definitely have a big box of Pixie Scraps, you'll never know when you are going to need it...... just like today!!!

Just look at all those rolled flowers, they are all scraps from my Floribunda kit, yeah, just the March kit, I didn't even touch the paper from the other kits yet...

I started out thinking to make a little decor for the Easter Brunch table, where I could have little name tags for the guest with the memo pins found in Pixie March Kit "Floribunda" (you'll get 6 of those in the kit)

So I went to Michael's to get this tiny flower pot, I think it cost like 49 cents...

as I rolled and rolled more of those flowers and formed that rolled flower topiary, I changed my mind...... does that even happen to you when you create?

I added the glittered easter eggs and thought: Pixie would be happy to be here, so I took out my Pixie February Stash and get Pixie out of there.....

I was right, she sure is, and she is telling little butterfly how happy she is to be here....

I ended up with an Pixie Easter decor without using those memo pins, maybe I'll make another project later.....

Oh yeah, be sure to come back tomorrow, we have our very first GROUP PROJECT, lots of fun and pretty things, you don't want to miss out on that!

rock star birthday card by lauren bergold

there is no doubt that the march pixie kit FLORIBUNDA is full of soft pretty papers, elegant embellishments, and flowery goodness. all of which might make one think it'd be difficult to make a full-on guy card. one would be wrong, though. see?

the reverse side of the beautifully intricate pink paislee paper has this awesome star; the glamorous white parisian anthology chipboard letters can be inked into a variety of vibrant colors; and the elegant glitz design rub-ons are more flexible--and more unisex--than you might think at first glance. all i needed to add was a bit of ink & stitching & a dymo label...and BOOM!

guy card??! no problem! rock-on, pixies...ROCK ON! ♥♥♥

Adore by Zielonooka

This card was made as the wedding card but it can be given to some special for the other occasion. Its main motive is this paper, handmade flower. It is completed by the liquid pearls, beautiful rub-on and delicate butterfly . Machine stitching gives glamour and teared edges a three-dimensional impression.

Greetings:)

-Zielonooka

"XOX" Altered Box by Cheryl Nelson

OK....SERIOUSLY....You've GOT to LOOOOVE a kit where even the packaging is GORGEOUS!
Such was the case with the Floribunda kit! As soon as I unpacked it and saw the fabulous packaging that chipboard alphabet letters came in, I knew I wanted to shoosh it up with a few of the other GORGEOUS items in the kit to make a little spa package for my daughter. My daughter has spent the last year and a half as a missionary for our church in Paraguay. There have been many times she has been without running water and so I thought she would appreciate a little bit of loveliness. Inside I included a chocolate bar (how can you pampered without a little chocolate) that I wrapped in more Floribunda kit goodies, a relaxation mask, and some wonderful smelling bath treats:

Don't you think the colors in this kit just say luxury...pampering...lovely spa-like retreat?

I hope your day includes a little pampering! Hugs, Cheryl

Kirsty's Note -
That is a such an elegant package, I am sure your lovely daughter would love it!

the big "M" by lauren bergold

i could probably write an entire post about how much i love pink paislee products...especially the ones from the "sweetness" and "parisian anthology" collections that are featured in this month's pixie dust paperie kit, FLORIBUNDA. this particular sheet, "sweetest day" might be my absolute favorite:

you could pretty much frame that, right?! but instead, i decided to make a wall-hanging for my niece madeline's room:

i found the white wooden "M" at michaels for a surprisingly good price... (i think it was $4) ...and i knew right away i would trace its shape onto the lovely pink; but how would i know i was getting the very best bits of the paper?? easy. i'd "waste" an inkjet transparency from the office supply store. by tracing the "M" onto it, rather than my special paper, i was able to move it around and select the optimal place to cut...WITHOUT damaging or marking the paper in the process.

(i didn't take a photo at the time, but here's the template placed over some "stunt paper")

when i was happy with the arrangement, i traced the "M" onto the pink paper and cut it out leaving a 1/16" gap all round. i used my xyron to evenly coat the entire shape with adhesive and affixed it to the wooden letter. then i fussy cut a few more of the lovely roses and used edge punches on coordinating websters pages and glitz design patterns... (best part of a PDP kit? *EVERYTHING* already matches everything else!) ...to fill in the entire shape.

that just left a few finishing touches: i cut very thin (3/8") strips of the white-on-white music paper and used aleen's tacky glue (applied with a disposable brush) to attach it firmly all around the edges of the letter. i painted one of the tim holtz "ornate plates" with white craft paint and adorned it with a glitz rub-on. finally i dangled two of the fancy idea-ology "baubles" from cable wire staples that my husband verrrrrrrrrrry carefully shot into the side of the frame. (we first had a "practice go" on the BACK of the letter, to ensure it would not split or damage the wood!) last of all i attached some of the pixie signature crinkled seam binding (using adhesive and more staples) to serve as a hanger.

and now i kind of want to go back to michaels to see if they have a big "L"...for MY room!!! :)

Kirsty's Note -
Oh wow wow wow, now I can see what happened when a brilliant brain at work, ummm.... I wonder if Michael's have a big "K"???? ......    ; )
