Card w/ Matching Envelope by Wendi Robinson

Nothing says I'm thinking of you like a homemade card in the mail. I don't think I've sent a store bought card or purchased one in years!!!! I just LOVE to receive homemade cards also, because I know all the energy that goes into creating one. It's just sealed with that extra bit of love.

For the card, I used Echo Park's "Cheerful Words" paper, the yellow print side, and matched it with the MME "Charmed" woodgrain print. I just added some trim, punched out some butterflies and a few of the Echo Park Element Stickers for the card.

I brought over the yellow print pattern and woodgrain print onto the envelope, and then added the butterfly and another Echo Park sticker element to keep the flow of the card and transfer it onto the envelope also.

And here you go... a perfect set to send to that special someone...

I think by making the matching envelope, it kinda goes that extra mile in creating a full set and says " I am realllly thinking about you".

Kirsty's Note -
That is such a thoughtful and ovely pair, thanks Wendi!!!

Read The Story Bookmark By Wendi Robinson

My daughter has been asking me to make her a bookmark for her reading books, since she lost her's the other day, and this was the perfect kit to create one for her. I used the Echo Park Wild Rose solid paper for the base of my card and made it 3X7, a perfect size for her reading books. I then added the GCD Vintage Jane paper.

Next I cut out some of the Teresa Collins Posh flowers and sewed onto them to give them an extra pop.

I used several Echo Park element stickers to find off embellishing the bookmark. The EP Victoria Gardens stickers has the perfect sentiment for the bookmark "The Story", so I just used the alphas to add "Read" and finish it off.

I can't tell you how excited she was to receive it and has already put it to use!!!

Altered NoteBox By Wendi Robinson

I created this cute lil altered Note box, mainly using the Echo Park's Victoria Gardens line. I used the "Rose Gardens" paper for the lining of the box. Then I added the pink printed patterned paper and used a border punch to create a scallop border.

I took apart the Maya Road flowers and just used a partial of it. I used the "Notes" sticker from the Echo Park Victoria Gardens Elements sticker:

I used some fussy cutting on the flower print to add some pop:

Just add some green trim and another Echo Park Elements sticker:

And you've created a fun lil Notes box. This is perfect for my daughter, she constantly has notes all over her desk, so this will be great to help her keep them all in one place.

That is an awesome idea, thanks Wendi!

For this lo I used a few of the pp's together, some buttons, ribbon, flower, and numbers...all included in the kit! I then stamped 'celebrate' on some of the packing paper, a small smear of white paint, my peace stamp, and a tad of sewing....so easy and fun!

What celebration memory do you have that you'd like to capture?

Faith Layout by Wendi Robinson

This kit is perfect for some super girlie pages and projects.. I saw those big roses from the Teresa Collins Posh line and instantly thought about cutting them out and popping them onto a project...

To add some texture on the flowers, I added some sewing machine stitching. I cut out all the flowers from the Teresa Collins "Posh" paper.

To make the page super girlie, I punched a scallop border, distressed the pink Echo Park print paper, added some pop dots on the flowers, and then some machine stitching on the page too:

I just LOVE the quote from the Echo Park Sticker Elements: "Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles"

Kirsty's Note -
This is absolutely girly and fun!!! Thanks Wendi!!!

Snow Buddy Layout by Wendi Robinson

I LOVE how there are some fun boy papers thrown in here, and just a glimpse of holiday papers too. I used Prima's "Icicles" paper for my snow photo of my nephew. It worked perfectly with him being a little snow angel.

For my title work, I cut out alphas from Prima's "Pressman" paper. I also used some fuccy cutting to enhance the snowflake-icicles hanging from the "Icicles" paper and used pop dots to make them jump off the page.

I cut out the scallops from the "Icicles" paper and layered them and then added some machine stitching on top to create layers.

I thought the Prima window embellies were the perfect accent to spice up a winter page:

Kirsty's Note -
That is such a fun and awesome page, thanks Wendi!!!

Let's Get Together Card by Wendi Robinson

There are soooo many times, when I have to say, that some of the scrapbooking packaging is just as cute as the actual embellishments. For this card, I used the Maya Road flower packaging for the center portion of my card (the white grid with black scallops). I first mounted my card with the Echo Park Wild Rose solid paper. Next, I cut down the Maya Road packaging and added it to the card center.

Then I added a Maya Road flower, and some cut out flowers from the Teresa Colline Posh flower pattern, some buttons for the flower centers. I then placed on a Teresa Collins Posh chipboard flower and frame.

I added some texture on the card with layers of punched scalloped Echo Park paper strips to add some dimension the card. And then placed on the Echo Park Elements sentiment sticker.

What a fun way to make your packaging really work for you.

Kirsty's Note -
This is lovely, thanks Wendi!!!

Miss U card by Wendi Robinson

I created this vintagey card with both the Prima and Echo Park lines in the kit. They both work sooo well together. I matted the card with Echo Park's "Rose" paper. I added the Prima journaling card from the "Pressman" paper.

Then added some details with a cut out flower form the "Rose Garden" paper, and a tape measure strip from Prima's "Pressman" paper. I also added some stitching over the ribbon pleats and give it some texture.

For the sentiment, I cut out the "Miss U" from the Prima "Pressman".... I think I am in LOVE with that paper.. it really goes soo fan and there are tons of alphas on the sheet!!!

And there you go.. a finished card.

Kirsty's Note -
That is so pretty, and what a great idea to use those alphabets from the Prima patterned paper, thanks Wendi!!!
