The far left one is my contribution for this year
to BCRF auction@ my LNS.
The rest are still sitting there to be finished.
They are all Hardanger pieces with
some drawn work techniques.

This is one of my purchases
when I found out about Kathy will be retired
from designing the patterns.
"Les Lettres de Noël"

@De filen aiguille No. 52, Nov-Dec 2006
Fabric: Wichelt linen 40ct Natural
Fiber: AVAS 100/3 Creme & #500

This ons is a companion piece of the below.
I stitched up the first one
a couple of years ago,
then found out I had a little problem
finding the embellishment- extra small beads.
I finally finished up and framed it
about this time of last year
with some great helps by my blogland friends
Emma and Sanae in Japan.

They both saw and liked mine first,
then finshed theirs even before I did mine.
What's up with that? lol

Thank you both and it's that time again
to pull out from the closet to show off!
Right: "Moonlit Garden" Loose Feather #22
by BBD
Fabric: Lakeside Linens 40ct Vintage Dill
Fiber: WDW- called for the chart

I finished my fall house
even before putting my blog on vacation.
That was really fun while our weather
here in Arizona was still extremely warm!!

Then I started another fall project
as I really liked my fall house.
It's Fraidy Felix in black linen with 30ct.
Yes, 30ct in black is not something
I'm used to...
Here is a lovely antique looking pincushion
I made as a class project last month.
Linda Danielson@ Samplers Remembered
had a workshop at my LNS.

We learned how to embellish the pincushion
with the lace trim with the antique MOP buttons.
It was such a fun class learning and stitching with
all other participants,
some of us were even from out side of the state!

I've heard she is going to give another class
in early January as it was so popular
between the two classess she's already had.
"Petals for Penny Table Mat"
by Primitive Gatherings

And the last one, but not the least,
I'm also stitching this wool applique mat.

Wool applique is such a relaxing project
without any hustle.
I almost feel so sorry to finish the project
towards the end of it as it's that much fun!!

I think that's about it for now from here.
See you again some time...

While I was gone

"Christmas Market", " Church at Christmas" & "Christmas Tree Sale"
From "Christmas Tapestry in Cross-Stitch" by Inga Palmgren
Fabric: Fremme Linen 10B, Bleached
Fibers: DFT #97

Christmas project already? Why not!

This lovely red book filled with Swedish Christmas Tapestries has arrived at our front porch along with some beautiful gifts -will share with you later, last month. You may not the only one who express such a huge surprise to see me actually got hooked up with them. I'm also one of you - still can't believe myself stitched these at all. But sure I did!

I stitched them over one thread with single strand. It went fairly fast and almost blown out from the window!!

Then these blocks are the swap pieces from my friend "m" san. Her hand pieced beauties are the true heirloom pieces!!!

I'm planning to finish them with the fabrics enclosed with - I believe they are from "Pink Chocolate" line?. Not sure how it's going to be like yet, but will try my best not to destroy her original taste...

And I'd like to show off a little more from her package.

The above are designed and hand made by her with my favorite Dresden Plate motives :) The cute pouch on your right is a very good size to keep my all the goodies for knitting. And take a close look at the coaster! Yes, your eyes must be glued on the top part of it, I can see. That is a pin cushion!! What a creative and practical idea, isn't it? The coaster come with a pincushion! I fell love in with this one when she showed off hers on her awhile back, then here is mine now ;)

My B-Day, Christmas and Valentine's Day came all at once!!!

At last, but not the least, this is my favorite part of all. Very detail oriented with a touch of the nice and heart warming scent of what she sprays to the fabrics.

Thank you so much "m" san for such a wonderful things! I still feel like I'm drawn into the deep fabric ocean...

Till next time.
