Blog Candy Winner!

Hi everyone!

A huge thank you to everyone who entered my candy and to all my new followers too!
And thank you for all the lovely comments about where I live, I do feel lucky to live here (especially when the Game of Thrones people come to visit! ;) lol!).
I got a lot of great feed-back re the whole follower thing and which way is preferred, Google Friends Connect seems to still be the favourite, closely(ish) followed by Bloglovin.  A few people just said Google so I'm not sure if they meant friends connect or google +.  Feedly and Networked blogs got a mention each too.  Not enough to add I'm afraid.  Not one person mentioned Linky Followers, so it's a gonner!  I have since connected my blog to my google + account so it's now there as a way to follow too.  So in summary, I'm left with the same number of ways to follow as I started, but I got rid of one and added one!  Hopefully they'll all keep working!

Anyway, down to the business of  who has won my candy...

I'm Home And A Winner!

Hi everyone!

I'm home from my holidays - I had a fantastic time while I was away.  We went all the way to Australia (from Ireland!) for almost 3 weeks, which is why my blog has been a bit quiet lately, apart from a couple of scheduled DT posts.
Thank you so much to everyone who visited while I was away and joined in with my candy!  And a big hello to all my new followers too!

I'll be showing off some pictures from my trip - I think I'll have to spread them over a few posts though as I took over 1200 photos!  Don't worry though, I'll pick out some of my faves rather than make you sit through them all! lol!

Anyway, the important part of this post is to announce the winner of my candy.
I went to random.org site to use their number generator and it picked...

Which is the fabulous Anne from Copper-Beach Crafts!  I'm so delighted that she won (even though I wish everyone could win!) as she's a long time follower and friend and it's her birthday today!!  So how's that for a happy birthday Anne?!!
I'll get the goodies parcelled up and in the post to you - enjoy!

100 Follower Candy!

Hi everyone!

I was ever so chuffed to find a couple of weeks ago that I had passed the 100 follower mark on my wee blog, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to  give away a wee bit of candy!
So I had a think about what I wanted it to be and got it ordered.
It has all finally arrived and this is what I've got...

The candy includes:
~ Stampin' Up! Modern Label punch (the one in the picture is my own as the new one hadn't arrived when I took the photo, but I've got the new one now)
~ The new limited edition seasonal colours - Spring 2012 pro-marker set of 6 pens. (pesky light reflecting off the packaging!)
~ 2 of the new Magnolia stamps that have been causing quite a stir among crafters recently!  I've got the Winter Skating Tilda and Stamping Tilda.
~ A butterfly like the one I had on a wedding card recently.
~ A roll of ribbon - it's white organza (so will hopefully go with most things and is also on the wedding card - this is a new roll though!) and is 25 metres long.

I can't believe it's been a year today (11th November) since I started my blog!
The year has flown past and I've met (virtualy speeking!) lots of really talented people out there.
I've learnt so much about papercrafting and cardmaking since I started blogging - as well as spent an absolute fortune on all the new must have gadgets and gizmo's and papers and stamps and pens and...!!!
So to celebrate, I'm doing my first blog candy!
And as I'm sure you'll know (if you've been following my blog) I'm not the most organised person in the world (soon to be rectified though!) so you won't be surprised to hear that I haven't actually finished gathering up the candy!
I've taken a picture of what I have gathered so far though so you can have a taster of what it is!

As you can see I've got a 6x6 K & Company paper pad, a reel of silver ribbon (I believe it's 25m), one of the big butterflies that I used on a recent card, a couple of blingy bits, a selection of flowers and a Maya Road tin to put it all in.
I've also ordered a couple of Sugar Nellie stamps to add to it but they haven't arrived yet.
Plus, I'm going to the craft show in Belfast tomorrow so will hopefully pick up some things there.
Plus, as I sort through my craft stuff for moving, you never know what I might find in there to add to it too!!

Last Chance

Today is the last chance to enter my blog candy.

I've added a couple of other things (but forgot to take a pic) including a cuttlebug die (which I must point out has been used but not very much so it's like new) and a couple of stamps. Also the 2 Sugar Nellies have arrived and are ready to go again!
