Beccy's Place August Release - Over the Back Fence

Beccy has been busy creating this fun group of critters for the August release.  Over the Back Fence comes with 3 pre-colored images, 3 black line images and 5 coordinating sentiments.  I had so much fun creating with this set!

My first project that I'm sharing today started by printing the black and white image onto X-Press It card stock and coloring with alcohol markers.  I then fussy cut the image and layered it onto a Woodgrain Fence die from My Favorite Things.  Designer papers are from Carta Bella Farmhouse Living paper pad.  The birthday sentiment from the set was printed and die cut with the Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble border die.

The second project features the trio of pre-colored dogs.  I created a magnetic bookmark by first printing and fussy cutting the dog image.  The base card stock is 6 inches by 2 3/4 then folded in half.  Dog print paper from my stash was applied and two small magnets inside the fold.  I adhered the dog image to the top fold and printed a sentiment from Beccy's Place Book Lover's set and die cut with a speech bubble die.

My final project features the pre-colored bunny trio image.  They were printed, fussy cut and layered onto designer papers from Echo Park Spring paper pad.  A sentiment was printed and layered onto black card stock as a focal point.  The card was finished simply with enamel dots.

You can find Over the Back Fence digital set at Beccy's Place online shop.

Beccy's Place June New Release - Fairy Folk Digital Set

I'm excited to share a new digital set by Beccy Muir.  The Fairy Folk set includes three adorable fairies and six coordinating sentiments.  It comes with both pre-colored and black and white images for your creative projects!

All three of my projects started by printing the B&W line image onto X-press It card stock and coloring with Copic Markers.

I kept the first card clean and simple with only a few gems, sentiment and a coordinating lavender frame.  The finished card size is 4.5 square.  A light brushing of Wink of Stella was added to the fairy wing.

Have a Magical Birthday - The colored image was die cut and layered onto Doodlebug patterned paper from my stash.  The image and sentiment were layered onto retired Stampin' Up card stock.  I finished the card with a few enamel dots and yellow Wink of Stella on the fairy wings.

You Positively Sparkle - This fairy was colored then fussy cut.  She has been layered onto a mixed media gelli print tag.  A metal bee (Stampin' Up!) and gingham ribbon finish this sweet tag.  It could be used alone, as a bookmark or adhered to a card front.  Tags are so versatile AND fun!

I hope you get a chance to stop by Beccy's Place and check out all of the fun digital stamps, tutorials and tips!

Art Impressions Challenge: #351 Furries & Feathers

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Furries & Feathers.  I was a lucky challenge winner and Dog House Cubbies was my choice.  The pups and little open doors are so fun!

I started by stamping all of the images onto water color paper.  They were die cut then colored and blended with Tombow markers.  I decided the image size was perfect for a bookmark.

I used papers from my stash and Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle Large die for the bookmark.  A small tab punch and twine finish the project.

This will be going to my niece who is an animal lover.  Watch for more fun creations with this set soon!

Beccy's Place March New Release - Book Lovers Digital Set

Have you seen the March digital release at Beccy's Place?  This is one of the new sets called Book Lovers.  It's perfect for those people in your life who enjoy books!

The set includes the following;

- 5 colored images

- 5 black and white images

- 6 sentiments.

Card 1 - Center Step One for the Books.  Have you seen all of the great card tutorials on the Beccy's Place website?  I followed her Centre Step card tutorial for my first card.  The digital image was colored with Copic Markers and die cut with Spellbinders rectangle die.  The image was layered onto mulberry paper and various patterned papers  from an older DCWV Violet Leaft paper pad.  I finished the card with a coordinating sentiment and rhinestones.

Card 2 - Happy Birthday Book Worm.  The bookstack image was printed and colored with Copic Markers then fussy cut.  It was adhered with dimension tape onto papers from Basic Grey's Oxford paper pad.  The finished card size is 6 x 6 and finished a coordinating sentiment and twine.

Good Day for Reading Tag.  The row of books was rotated then merged with the eyeglass image which was printed then colored with Copic Markers.  Charcoal pencil was used to highlight and shade the image.  It was die cut with Hero Arts Nesting Tag Dies.  I layered the image tag onto Stampin' Up! Old Olive card stock.  Twine and washi tape finish the tag.  I think this will make a great bookmark for one of my book-loving friends!

I hope you get a chance to stop by Beccy's Place and check out all of the fun digital stamps, tutorials and tips!

Art Impressions Challenge: Bloom Where You're Planted

I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge to include flowers, trees, plants, etc.  My bookmark features the AI Garden Wagon Mini Set.

I began by stamping the wagon and flowers on white card stock.  A puffy cloud background was masked and sponged with Memento inks.  The panel scene and base were die cut with Spellbinder Long Classic Rectangle dies.  A punch from my stash was used for the tab and denim ribbon adhered.  A Scripture from Sweet 'n Sassy's In the Psalms set finishes the project.

Beccy's Place January New Release - Art of Friendship

Beccy's Place released a lovely floral digital set this month called Art of Friendship.  You can find it HERE in Beccy's shop.  This set comes with two lovely floral images and six coordinating sentiments.  I love the versatility of this set!

My first project features one of the lovely floral images.  The card and bookmark set will be a great gift for a treasured friend.  I enjoy tucking a bookmark in as little gift!  The image was printed and colored with Copic Markers then die cut.  I kept the card design clean and simple to focus on the lovely image.  It was layered onto a diagonal stripe embossed panel and finished with rhinestones.

The bookmark was printed and colored with Copic Markers then die cut with Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles Large.  It was layered onto Gina K. Passionate Pink card stock and finished with a gingham ribbon.

I stepped out of my comfort zone with the final project featuring Art of Friendship.  Digital images are so versatile.  I love the ease of storage and ability to size them (larger or smaller).  For this project, I enlarged the floral image and printed directly to water color paper.  Distress inks were used to watercolor the image and background.  I added Stickles and a wooden sentiment for dimension.

Once completely dry, I mounted the water color onto poster board.   A sticky sheet of burlap (from my stash) was mounted onto the wall frame then the poster board was applied.  I really enjoyed creating this wall art and I'm happy with the results!

Be sure to stop by Beccy's Shop and see all of her fun digital sets.  I'm sure you will find something to add to your creative stash!
