Mitten Adjectives!

We brought mittens to school and used adjectives to describe them.

We read the Mathstart book Missing Mittens and practiced skip counting by 2's. The students made their own pair of mittens to count.

Mitten Math

We read the Mathstart book Missing Mittens and talked about odd and even numbers. The children constructed 2 mittens to make a pair and we discuss that even numbers have a pair. Then we used our mittens to count by 2's and identify odd and even numbers.
