Thank You for Hawaii with Hibiscus Flower

Hi. I stamped the hibiscus stamp by Deep Red Stamps with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder by Ranger. The red die cut is by Gina Marie. The thank you die cut is from my stash.
I made the background paper with blue distress inks and foam applicator using a wavy mask at different angles on white paper. I put a little ink here, then moved the mask and put a little bit of ink there. It creates white space and with the blue it looks like waves. I lamely tried to add in some brown distress ink at the bottom to resemble the sand. I hate it but not enough to redo it.
Thank you for looking

Floral Friday Christmas Cricut Slimline card

Slimline cards are a challenge for me. I feel like there’s so much wasted space yet if you fill it up, it’s just too much.

The background patterned paper is by Bo Bunny.  The poinsettia is a Cricut die cut (Image set called Christmas Noel).

I dry embossed one of the layers of the poinsettia with a Cuttlebug embossing folder before adding Stickles to the petals.

The sentiment is by Hero Arts; I heat embossed it in gold and then colored in the frame with a mixture of paint and chalk. The ric rack is from my mother-in-law‘s stash.

Thanks for looking.

Peace Christmas dry and heat embossed card

The background is vellum that was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and then painted with white sparkle paint. The die cut in the back is made out of silver card stock. The die cut in the front has been heat embossed with silver silver powder around the edges and the sentiment. The Simon says stamp challenge this week is SPARKLE  That vellum gives off some  beautiful sparkle.  Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Poinsettias Heat embossed in circles Christmas Cards

This card is in the Simon Says Stamp weekly challenge. This week it is Add some sparkle. The red paper is glitter cardstock

I clear heat embossed the poinsettia stamp, inked with distress ink to give them color, and circle punch by Creative Memories. The white die is by Papertrey Ink and inside it is a Spellbinders die. The sentiment is unknown. The glitter cardstock is by Recollections and the dotted line is a rub-on by Die Cuts with a View.

I made the flowers the same way as the first card. You can now see what they look like before adding red ink. The large center die cut is unknown but the square behind the center is by Spellbinders. All of the edges are inked with Distress ink.
I have more of these to play with so you'll see them again. Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Silhouette Grass Background card

I used the same Hero Arts Stamp from last week. It's called Silhouette Grass. I stamped and inked it with brown and blue. Then I heat-embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder. Thanks for looking.

Deep Red stamps gold embossed butterfly card

Isn’t that crazy how the card looks in the different lights. The scalloped half circle is a journaling card by Making Memories. The butterfly stamp is by Deep Red stamps. I heat-embossed with a gold embossing powder. Then a inked the area where the butterfly is. Then I partially colored it in with different colors of distress ink.
Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Happy Anniversary Card

The patterned paper is by Creative Memories and the center paper is by Prima. The word "Happy" is an eBay stamp that I heat embossed gold on self-adhesive vellum by Paper Reflections. The word "anniversary"  is a Lawn Fawn stamp using Catherine Pooler ink and on a die cut from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Candy Cane Lane card with a double heat embossing

This card is something else. I loved doing it and I need to find a different embossing folder to try the same technique, agree? And I will take ideas/requests
There are way too many pictures but sometimes that’s the way it goes.
The embossing folder is by We R Memory Keepers. It's a little bit longer, so that's why I could line up the design. Meaning I could do this technique because the opposite, embossed and debossed was longer and could line up. (that was a horribly long run-on sentence.)
The embossing folder is 3" wide. Therefore, these are 3 separate pieces of cardstock. (I think I said that)
I dry embossed 2 pieces of red cardstock and I'm not sure if they are from the same manufacturer they look like two shades of red. I hate the shades of red cardstock and how they are hard to match up. I probably didn't think the idea would work.
>Click<My cousin used to obsess over the shades of red and I would be so Rrrr, "Just pick a piece of red paper!" So one day I ran into a problem with matching reds so I fanned out the pieces of red cardstock all over my desk and took a picture. I texted her the picture and apologized for those times that she couldn't find just the right red to match her son's shirt when we were scrapbooking. She appreciated the apology.
>Click< Back- moving on with the tour.
Then I dry embossed a shimmery white cardstock.
I took a red "Wet Looks" Marvy embossing marker colored it into the debossed pattern and then heat embossed it with red embossing powder.
I did the same thing for the red cardstock but in white. The embossing marker is Embossing Dual Pen 11 #81 Clear by Tsukineko and used Hero Arts white embossing powder to finish the job.
I must say that I didn't use a powder bag before heat embossing and it shows with embossing powder everywhere. For the first time with such a technique, I'm all good with that.
I trimmed the panel down and gave it a nice white border on the sides. The sentiment is one of Cricut's print and cut.

This post was stupid long and way too wordy with probably many grammatical errors. This may be why I didn't want to post it. Thanks for sticking with me. Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday heat embossed star, and a background made of scraps Card

Happy Fourth of July

The stamp is by Stampin Up and it was heat embossed with a blue glitter embossing powder. The sentiment is also from Stampin up. The tag and paper are unknown. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for looking.

I also have This dragonfly card with the same scraps.

I made the card yesterday at the same time as this one. I thought it was interesting to see the two next to each other.
The dragonfly was cut using my Cricut from the image set called Spring Fling.
I layered it to make the wings lift up a little bit.
The patterned paper that is green is unknown but the blue is by Sunborn
So the blue had been part of a glue drip accident.
Therefore, I colored him with a flicking motion with a Crayola Brush Tip marker.
Then...I threw it in my drawer. So when I made this background from blue scraps of paper and I looked in the drawer and came across this dragonfly. So, they look okay together. I added a sentiment by Hampton Arts. Thanks for...Oh wait, there’s more...
Here are some other cards that I found when I put the word dragonfly in the search box. The cards are all different.

 Thanks so much for looking.

Two Lawn Fawn cards with Coffee and Tea

The patterned paper on the first card is by forever and time and the writing on the paper is by Provo craft. I cut a scallop square by Spellbinders. The sentiment die is also by Spellbinders. I bought the rectangle die cut from eBay. I inked the paper with distress ink before taking it out of the metal die.
This was the Siri dictation-husband linked with the stress sink (giggle) before taking it out of the metal. The actual coffee cup is stamped into some graph paper by Project Life. The dot for the J is a sticker by Cloud Nine.
Then the second card uses patterned paper by My Mind‘s Eye, Basic Grey, and somebody else. The die cuts are by DO Crafts, Spellbinders, and Papertrey Ink. The teacup was heat embossed in white and the steam was stamped and cut out with a matching die.
I'm entering this card(s) into the AG with dies at
Happy Little Stamper

Thanks for looking.

Easter Cards in Different shades of Greens

The patterned papers are old and by Provo Craft and K and Co. The top card uses that same embossing folder that I've used all week. The center embossed area works well with any cross. That cross is by Spellbinders and I inked the paper before I removed it from the die.
The second card, the cross is a stamp that I heat embossed with silver embossing powder. That square patterned paper has been stamped with a clear background stamp again very old. Thanks for looking

Accordion Card Merry and Bright

I heat embossed the front sentiment and the trees, which are both Hero Arts stamps. To cover up the opposite side of patterned paper that I didn't think of when choosing them, I sprayed it with Smoochies Ink and then used a dot stencil over that. Thanks for looking. All of the accordion cards were made using a Melody Lane Cricut Design Space SVG. Thanks for looking. Here is the link to my WERQ Accordion card.

Celebrate Cards

The celebrate stamp was white heat embossed and then the edges of their cardstock and also the green patterned paper on the second card were inked with distress ink. Some of the patterned papers by Crate Papers My Mind's Eye, Making Memories, and possibly Colorbok. Ribbon by Offray and brad is unknown. I do know that that brad is going to be stupidly expensive to mail but I liked the way it matched the cardstock.
Thanks for looking.

Christmas tree with oval wood Frame card

I used a Tim Holtz stencil with distress ink and oxide for the sunshine rays.
The tree is an upside-down pennant stamp that was heat embossed in that funky color. I added the yellow with Copic marker. Other things I added were a stamped tree trunk, a star sequin, and iridescent small "sequins" for lack of a better word. I've had them forever.

The frame is an oldie that I found from my stash. I painted it and distressed it with an emery board. I was just playing around with it as a prototype for another project but don't ask me what that was.

Thanks for stopping by.

Gold 50th Anniversary Card

I made this card using the sketch from...IDK
Found it.
This sketch was my saving grace for this anniversary card.
The patterned paper is by Anna Griffin. The gold paper is by CM and it's dry embossed with a Crafter's Companion. The 50 is a SU stamp and it was heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder by Stampendous. I rarely use it because it never seems to give the results I'm looking for. This one out of 5 made the cut making it to the card. The gold twine is from my stash. The black cardstock is popped up on foam adhesive.
Thank you for looking.
