I hope you are enjoying a wonderfully crafty day today, perfect weather we're having for a little scrapping and possibly some retail therapy over at ATDML

January Virtual Crop with Mel using 49 & Market Nature Study

Welcome to the final class of the day. I got to work with 49 & Market Nature Study which was such a treat. I ADORE 49 & Market products anyway but this particular collection really works well for such a wide range of photos. In the end I used photos from our 2022 trip to Canada and of course the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies works great with this range however I love that it is one of those collections that works just as well for photos take in my local park or on a walk through the UK countryside!

I made two layouts for this class, the first is here:

To get the full instructions and see the other layout take a trip over to our 2024 Google Drive folder and look for the file labelled 0124-Mel (as a reminder the format is month year teacher: mmyy-teacher

Don't forget to share your versions over on ATDML # Create, our teachers work really hard creating lovely pages for you and they really do enjoy seeing what has been made whether you followed the instructions to the letter or went off on a completely different direction with it.

January 2024 Virtual Crop with Ann and Photoplay

Happy 2024 to all our ATDML friends and welcome to your noon virtual crop class from me this chilly January.

At the start of each year I set myself a reading challenge for the year and try to record the books that I read on an app called Goodreads. I don't read all the time and can go a couple of months with no books but then may have a run of several weeks! Anyhow, imagine my delight to receive the wonderful Book Club papers from Photoplay for this month's virtual crop kit.

I have made two pages, both with a simple interactive element and I hope you enjoy them!

You can download your instructions here on the file saved as 0124-Ann, and if you are scrapping along with us this virtual crop day then you've only a couple of hours before your next class is posted with Mel. Enjoy!

February Virtual Crop Class, with Tracy

I hope you are all having a restful Sunday!  Tracy here, getting ready to dive head first into March, and the sea of daffodils that it brings. I will do my best to enjoy it, but cannot lie, I'm already very much looking forward to April, which brings a lovely long Easter weekend, a well earned massage and of course retreat!

I was lucky enough to get my hands of some of Vicki B's Fernwood for my Virtual Crop class this month. I absolutely loved working with it... the florals and the butterflies are a fussy cutters dream!

I hope you like the layouts I've created for you, which range from distressed florals to a good old simplistic grid design.

The instructions have been uploaded to the Google Files HERE

I love seeing other peoples versions of my page, so please do upload yours to the facebook group, even if it isn't this weekend.

Simple Stories Vintage Great Escape

I absolutely love an autumnal / woodland collection and was thrilled I got to work with the Simple Stories Vintage Great Escape this month.

I made a little project that I can keeping secret for now (as it is rather hoped I can teach it to retreat goers this Autumn) and two layouts.

Both layouts make use of the 2x2 paper which is the prefect format for little photos and to showcase the wonderful foliage on the papers.

Plenty of scope to combine some stamping in as well!

These papers are available now in the ATDML online Store.

Class 15 - The Living Room with Kaisercraft Lily & Moss and Ann Freeman

And it's the end of your Cybercrop - do you have room for just one more class?
I have used the unusual colour combos of green & pink  in Kaisercraft Lily & Moss collection for this class.  Don’t you agree that some of the papers in the collection look like wallpaper? I have a wallpapered feature wall in my living room and hence I chose that room of the home for this class.

Also the Living Room is the heart of the home I think, where everyone gathers, and that is reflected in my second layout.

My final layout brings our House & Home cybcercrop to a close with a paper pieced house featured in the design. I hope you enjoy these and you can find the instructions to download for free just HERE.

Thank you all for joining our cybercrop. This wraps up the event but do keep sharing your pages with us - and remember entries for the challenges end next Sunday.

Class 13 - The Front Garden with Simple Stories Garden District & Karen Leahy

Hi everyone and I hope you have been having an amazing weekend filled with challenges and classes we have all dreamed up for you.

I am here with another Simple Stories class - this time with Garden District which is just a wonderful pretty collection and perfect for a class called Front Garden.

I have three pages in the class and I hope that you enjoy using the kit - and all of the leftovers you will have.

This is just one of the pages to whet your appetite and the instructions for this and the others I have made can be found HERE

We are back at 3pm with our last challenge of the weekend and after that the last couple of classes. See you then!

Class 9 - The Greenhouse with Amy Tan Shine on & Tricia Sutherland

Good Evening Campers

Hope you have enjoyed your second day of classes.  In this class we'll be taking inspiration from the greenhouse with floral and woody elements.  I used photos based in nature whether it be the glassy reflections captured on my walk, fruits and flowers growing in my garden or moving the garden into the kitchen with homemade bread.

I love the 'Planted' paper which reminds me of the shelved of growing pots in my Grandpa's old greenhouse and the 'Surrounded by love' geometric design reminds me of the domes at the Eden project!

The diecut elements make a fantastic addition to the papers and the colours are a beautiful mix of pale mint, gold and black.

Don't forget to pop back at 10pm for the last class tonight with Debbie.
I'll be back tomorrow so I'll see you then :)

Class 4 - The Garage with Simple Stories & Tricia Sutherland

Good morning Campers

Welcome to day 2 of the House and Home cybercrop.  With this class I'll be taking inspirations from the Garage.  The layouts not only feature a variety of modes of transport but they also celebrating the opportunity to break free!

You may choose to pull out some old photos from that fabulous trip you took like I did or some snaps from your government sanctioned exercise time during lockdown.

The range of papers are beautifully bright and come with a selection of stickers and some lovely little enamel accents.  I took inspiration from piles of travel leaflets, unfolded maps and planning routes.

I hope you enjoy the class and the weekend. - your instructions for this class can be downloaded HERE.

Pop back at 11am to join Jane in the Library for her G45 class.  I'll catch up with you again later tonight - see you then!

Clsss 3 - Hallway with Simply Vintage Coastal & Karen Leahy

Hi everyone and welcome to the class using what has to be one of the most gorgeous Simple Stories collections ever.

I guess it is no secret that I am a real coast addict, living so near to the beautiful Dorset coastline and so working with this collection is such a dream. The papers are beautiful and don't even get me started on the stickers and frames.

I have three pages for you in  this class, each quite different and you will still have lots of bits left over to create more beauty with.

I hope you enjoy the class and I will look forward to seeing what you create - the instructions can be downloaded HERE for free.

That's us for this evening - join us again in the morning at 8am for your second challenge!

Class 1 - The Attic with Prima Pretty Pale & Ann Freeman

A huge welcome to you all as we kick off a weekend of cybcrcrop classes with your ATDML design team. I am up first with a couple of layouts using Prima Pretty Pale - a wonderfully vintage collection that reminded me older things you'd perhaps store in the attic and the colour tones of paper when it has been around for a while.

You do not have to have purchased the kits to take part but can just take inspiration from the pages  made  - and please do share your pages with us.

Next up is Mel at 8pm with her first class of the weekend and hopefully you'll have seen we have already posted our first challenge. Enjoy and have fun, absolutely no stressing allowed!!

Let's go with Heidi Swapp Storyline

Morning scrappy friends.

I've been playing with Heidi Swapp Storyline which is a great and versatile collection. I made this page with it and printed multiple photos each of which I made a hand drawn frame for on some scrap white card.

The rest of the page was just some 12" horizontal strips with faux stitching added, quick and easy!

March Virtual Crop Class 2 with Tricia

Good Morning Campers

Welcome to the 2nd class of today's Cyber crop, where I'll be using Aryia's Garden by Bo Bunny.  This range is full of sunset colours and natural finishes to lead us into spring.

For the first layout I used inspiration from the garden elements and the Mondrian-style element included on one of the papers to inspire the layout.

I loved the wooden elements of these papers and although they would be perfect for country or beach pages I chose to team them with an urban setting with triangles and cutting criss-crosses.  I also used the waste of the alphabets for an edgy stencil/graffiti feel.

To finish off I wanted to make the most of those golden and pink shades in a fun poppy way. By blending a variety of circles with graduating colours I used the papers to showcase an early morning sunrise. This page would work well for beach pages or just kicking back with a drink in the garden. I also wanted to challenge myself to incorporate numbers into my title so decided to freeze time and use the time of day the photo was taken at. Instructions for the layouts are here

I hope you have enjoyed doing this class today and don't forget to pop back for the next class at 2pm with Mel.

Have a great day!

Storyline

Hi everyone - Dolly here with a few pages I have made playing with Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters. The colours int his range are just so lush - gorgeous pastel pinks and greens and greys and I love them. And there are great journalling and title blocks too.

The colours work well on Kraft or white or coloured backgrounds which makes the papers really versatile.

I had fun with this one making some pinwheels - I haven't done that for a very very long time.

I think they are also really versatile papers so - go ahead, have a look in store and see what you come up with.

We would love to see your pages in our facebook group.

October virtual crop by Tricia

Although I do love summer (for that one day we get in Scotland), Autumn is my favourite time of year.  unfortunately we can't always bank on the weather.

The Bo Bunny 'Beautifully Brisk' range has a lovely mix of beautiful autumnal shades and prints perfect for the rainy days when they come.  We've teamed them up with some matching brads and Studio calico alphas to finish it off.

I wanted to create 2 pages that make the most of layering tonal shades and same prints to give the feeling of hanging leaves and lashing rain.

Don't forget to share your version of the pages you create in our Facebook group ATDML # Create.
