More Graduation Pages

Good morning! I haven't had a chance to do more with Andrew's book till this morning. Here's 2 more pages. The first one is of me with Andrew and his best buddy Thomas. They've been friends since about Grade 1 and now will embark on a whole new journey together as they start high school this fall. The second is a picture I snapped when my Aunt Linda walked up and just gave Andrew a big hug. He's never smiled like that for me! Hehehehe! I really love that picture. A proud moment for our boy!

Graduation Layouts #3 - Andrew's Date and A Family Moment

If this is your first time seeing my Graduation Layouts, don't forget to scroll down for Layouts 1 and 2

Good morning! Here's some more pages from Andrew's Grad book. Andrew and his friend Rachel went to the ceremony together. Isn't she beautiful? They were so cute together and both so nervous. I was too!! The second page here is a family moment after the ceremony and then I redid that page to focus on Ashleigh's corsage. She had mentioned wanting one as well, so we surprised her. It's gone yellow, but it was actually little white carnations. I added in a little envelope so I could add it to the page.

Graduation Layouts #2 - Receiving His Diploma

Hello and happy Saturday! Here's some more layouts from Andrew's grad book. These pages focus on introducing the Grade 8 graduates (they came through an arbor) and Andrew receiving his grade 8 diploma and class photo. Things have changed since I graduated. Now they receive their diploma and a photo of the class in graduate attire and all the staff as well and it's in a really nice leather folder! If you missed Grad Layout #1, just scroll down! Enjoy!

Graduation Layouts #1 - Grad Photo's

Hello! Remember a bit ago, I made up a graduation album? Well, I was going to sell it and then decided to keep it for Andrew's grad. So, I've been working away at it and you'll see pages from it over the next few days. Here's a couple pages where I used his grad photo's. I also included the proofs as well. I kept it pretty simple as I wanted it to focus mainly on him, plus it's supposed to be masculine right? Thought he might not appreciate ribbons, bows and embellies in there! (sorry, the pg's seem to be a little crooked in the photo's)

Some Grad Pics

Hello! Well what a day yesterday! We got everything all set up at the park and it was just gorgeous. Grad was set for 5pm. 3pm, doesn't a wind storm blow through and took out the arbour and the first row of chairs and all the caterers table clothes, utensils..everything! The wind was just howling off the lake! So, after a much thought out debate, the principle thought it would be best for everyone's safety to take it to the school. I couldn't believe how quickly our parents pulled together and got us moved up to the school. We were reset within half an hour. It was amazing. The principle figured we would need time, so she asked everyone to come back for a 6pm start. Can you believe, they were ready at 5:15???? A HUGE thank you to everyone for all their help! The grad ceremony was still beautiful and went off without a hitch. And yes, you guessed it...by the time we got to the school, the sun was shining down. Go figure!

Here's a few pics for you to enjoy...isn't our boy handsome?? And his date looked stunning!!! My sister took the one with the umbrella and I love it! Thanks, Lee Ann! There is one of all of us together (family) but it's on someone elses camera. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of Andrew and his dad or my brother. He hates getting his pic taken to begin with, so half the time he was trying to run the other way! The one of me with the 2 boys is Andrew's best friend and our "adopted" (hehehehe) son, Thomas.

Congrats guys! And to Andrew...congratulations son, we're so very proud of you and we love you very much. You've excelled this year and really started to come out of your shell. Keep up the good work and remember to always follow your dreams. Always reach high, we know you can do it. Good luck in grade 9!!!

Graduation Card

Hello! With graduation coming up in June, I decided to try my hand at a couple graduation cards last week. This one is using a pattern from my CTMH 'Wishes' book and I added a charm "Made With Love" and I found some great stickers from Jolee's. This one is more girly I think, but stay tuned for some clean and simple ones to come! All cards say "Congratulations" inside.

8x8 Grad Album

Well, today's the day of my very first craft show! Wish me luck! I was very busy as I didn't know if I was going to do it till the last minute and I mean LAST minute! I've been busy at home, then came down with an eye infection on Wed night...what a week!! It's been a whirlwind, so I hope I do well. I decided to try my hand at a Graduation gift set. I had an 8x8 album, so I pre-made all the pages and all you have to do is add photo's and journal. I made a matching card to go with it. I thought this would be the prefect gift for that graduate on your list. Of course, if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it for Andrew's grad in June! Let me know what you think! I made it fairly simple so it could be used for either a boy or a girl. There are some more pages, but I left them plain, with a 7x7 white square in the middle for autographs, photo's, whatever they choose. I also added some inspirational sayings on those pages and the last pg is (4) 3x3 squares. There's 20 pg's in all.
