Shades of Blue at Lasting Memories

Morning! I forgot to post this! We had our spring retreat this past weekend and though it took me time to get in the groove, I managed to finish 31 layouts. Not bad! Our challenge at Lasting Memories this week is to use shades of blue and white. Since I was working on my wedding album, you get to see a page from that :)

We had a small family ceremony almost 12 yrs ago in my Aunt's backyard where I spent the majority of my childhood, right up till I met my husband actually. So it was only fitting to be married there.

In Love ...

Hello! So, I have to tell ya that some of the members of my LM DT have embarked on an exciting (and challenging!!!) challenge! We are doing the 50 layout challenge and shopping from our own stash - but we can name our own personal limits/allowances. So, mine is no pattern paper or embellishments until they run out. I will save/use my commission from CTMH to buy Artbooking & be able to purchase adhesive and cardstock as needed. Each month I will purchase my CTMH WOTG club kit & that's it! This month was my hostess month for our WOTG kit club and I ordered the new Artbooking and can't wait to get my hands on it! I also have a Michaels gift card that I got for my birthday, but hey, they have LOTS of home decor I could choose from, so I'll keep you posted there!

Here are my first 2 of 50 layouts done using this month's WOTG (club) kit "Sarita". Yes, this is my wedding, 11 yrs ago August 24 :) The perfect day, in the perfect place; my Aunt's back yard where I spent a lot of time growing up

LM #139 - Inspired by a TV Show

Happy Mother's Day to all the very special women in my life!

Today marks a new challenge at Lasting Memories and here it is! "Inspired by a TV Show" and crazy enough, I had JUST made 2 layouts for my wedding album, which I've just decided to do! I'm basing my challenge LO on "My Fair Wedding" today. I may not have had a planner come and do my wedding, but I had so much help from the most important people in my life - my family and we pulled this gorgeous day off in 4 mths! From planting roses to dress shopping to food to walking down the isle. We did it!!!
