Canvas Gifts

Morning! 2 more sleeps!! Amazing how much we prepare and then Christmas is just over in a flash! Anyway, I wanted to share with you the gifts I made for my nieces and my nephew :) I've discovered I love working with canvas. The best thing to use is liquid glass :) Holds very well! I've also inspired my friend Denise to try one, so can't wait to see what she comes up with! I gave these to the kids on Saturday night and they loved them!

Morning! 3 more sleeps to Christmas Day! So excited! We celebrated our Breen family Christmas gift exchange AND 3 birthdays last night and was a lot of fun. Dug out the old family movies and how amazing too see the kids (and the rest of us! LOL!) all those yrs ago. Trip down memory lane. Anyhow .. a new challenge at LM today and this is our last challenge for 2013! "Here Comes Santa Claus" is our challenge and the perfect time for me to showcase this accordian album I made. Just perfect for a pair of tiny hands to add photos and words

Our challenge this week at Lasting Memories is "Christmas Traditions". Since we haven't started our Christmas decorating yet, I am showing a 'naked' layout, with photos to come. We have so many traditions in our home as I love Christmas. That and Thanksgiving are my most favourite times of the year. Now that my daughter is older, she's really getting more involved in helping me decorate the house and I love that. Over the yrs, we've aquired so many ornaments, that when I decided I wanted a 'theme' tree, we had to have TWO trees! LOL! Looks so pretty though. So stay tuned for photos to come that will fill these layouts.

I used a new CTMH kit from our "Holiday Guide" called "Sparkle and Shine". Of course I added my own twist on it. I have to say, the bling?? I do not get a long with this stuff as a rule. There's some bad words flying, sweating, red face and frustration normally involved before I let a nasty word fly and throw it in the trash! LOL!! This bling though? O M Gosh! LOVE it!!! CTMH has come up with some way to make it work without binding up and sticking on itself. I loved working with it. So here's my 2 page spread ..
