Spring has Sprung 2014

What's it Wednesday #116

As soon as I heard the birds chirping and saw a myriad of colorful butterflies in the garden, I knew immediately that Spring had finally Sprung, so I sprung into action.

This is the time of year when friends and family arrive to thaw out. So I keep plenty of candy out to welcome them. Sweet and salt are always a big hit. This is the second batch of sweet actually. The first batch consisted of carrot cake M & Ms. Oh my goodness sinfully delicious. Now I cannot find them any where. Dove & Cadbury chocolates will just have to do. The salt comes from the sea salted pistachios.

Today was a perfect day for a Spring lunch for a few dear friends. One of them brought these gorgeous tulips which brightened up the dining room table.

Flowers are blooming all around which is the perfect reason to break out the Spring china.

I was also inspired to pick up some Peace Lilies and place them all around the house.

While at the plant nursery, I picked up a variety of impatiens and placed them in this three tiered birdcage on the front porch. The birdcage was recently purchased at Bjs. Y'all know Patty and I have a weakness for birdcages.

Succulents are plentiful this time of year as well. This arrangement was perfect for the smaller bird cage on the front porch.

Bromeliads and hibiscus are also bursting with color and add amazing color to the yard. What are some signs that "Spring has Sprung" in your neighborhood?

Love your chocolate eggs and pistachios displayed in the big jars and yes pretty tulips and flowers just say Spring especially when you can see the sun shining in the pictures too like I can in yours. Spring has sprung here in Germany also and for a good month long already and we all so enjoy this unsually early Spring around here. Nature is at least 2 to 3 weeks ahead of the season here, so I also shared some garden and flower shosts today but also some Spring decor inside the cottage. Sending you and Patti very Happy Spring wishes!

Good Morning Ladies!

What a sweet looking table! Tulips make my heart sing. They looks so refreshing with your luncheon dishes.

It snowed here in Ohio yesterday...sigh. But we keep hoping that Spring will actually Spring out of hibernation. So I keep "thinking Spring, thinking Spring".

Blessings, Edie Marie

What a pretty tablescape- those are beautiful dishes (they would have gone nicely with my recent floral centerpiece)! Spring hasn't quite sprung here- just a little too far north!! I heard about those M & M's and need to try them. Loving the bird cages too! I'm going to make my one and only one into a centerpiece soon. Thanks for hosting!

My iris are peeking up through all the leaves I piled on them for a winter bed.
It is to warm up this week starting today so maybe spring is close by
