Gunnar Olsson, a driving force in Swedish motor racing during the 1940’s and 1950’s establishing the first permanent motor racing track in Sweden, home-built the “Go-On II” around Jaguar SS and Alfa Romeo 6C components
The car was built on a home-built frame and was fitted with Jaguar SS differential/axle, radiator and wheels. The gearbox was sourced from the Alfa Romeo 6C and this was probably installed with the Alfa Romeo 2.5 liter engine when Olsson replaced the Lancia unit.
The bodywork of the “Go-On II” was made by professional coachbuilder Svedbergs and it appears to have been styled after the Alfetta 158 voiturette.

learning something new every day, from all sorts of obscure sources
These little Spiders offered magnificent Twin Cam Alfa power, and with win on Sunday sell on Monday, Alfa Romeo was closely linking their racing success with that on the showroom floor.
The Second Series 2000 Veloce, or “Kamm tail” as it is often referred to was in high demand between 1971-1982 with nearly 38,380 produced.
It was also during this era (1978) that Niki Lauda joined the Brabham Alfa Romeo for a new start after his stint with Ferrari. With Spiders in full production, and to celebrate this new addition to Alfa’s race team, it was decided that Niki Lauda was to be commemorated by a special edition Spider in his name. Launched at the 1978 Long Beach Grand Prix, the Niki Lauda Spider, Chassis # 001 was driven on the circuit by Niki himself.
Only an estimated 350 Niki Lauda Special Edition Spiders exist. The differences are subtle, but all add up to a fantastic look. They include such items as a fiberglass rear spoiler that wraps onto the rear quarters that was a first for Alfa Romeo and only seen on past prototypes; special badging on the sides, and a numbered plaque on the dash. Only one color scheme was offered in remembrance of the Brabham F1 livery, Red with stick on blue/white stripes. Other differences included door mirrors, exhaust tip etc…

Historic and Vintage Restorations in Australia continue to use traditional coachbuilding methods to make this 1939 Alfa Romeo 6c 2300 MM, which started off as only an original chassis and driveline sourced from Europe, designed by Michael Simcoe (once head of GM design global) in the Touring style to resemble the 8C 2900 Espada of Ralph Lauren

found while out walking the neighborhood
I think this was a 535
I found this Pinzgauer, only about a block away from where I found this Unimog about 14 years ago, and thought it was the same vehicle, thank you all for the correction https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2007/05/blog-post_23.html

Once sitting in an entrepreneur’s collection, unrecognized after a resale red paintjob, and two layers of retrimmed leather upholstery, this beautiful Franco Scaglione-designed Giulietta Spider prototype was rediscovered by and restored to its former glory.
