sign of the times

Today I stopped at my local Thrifty Shopper store. When I walked in I was so surprised to see so many people. There was a line waiting to get into the dressing rooms - I have never seen that before. What I did not know was that today was 50 percent off everything in the store. I was still surprised to see so many people. I don't think I have ever seen more than 10 to 15 people in the store. Today there was a least 100 or more. They had four cashiers working usually it is one. I guess it is a sign of the times. People are changing their thinking and their ways due to the current economic climate. I shop at the thrifty store because it is like a treasure hunt not a necessity for which I am grateful.
