Have you been playing along with the scs fallidays challenges.....they are a blast...join us here for all the fun! I have created this for one of the fun challenges today. I do not believe I have ever used distress inks quite like this before and I luv it! I usually spray the stamp with water after being inked before stamping. This technique you spray the stamped image after stamping onto watercolor paper and I luv how the ink runs together...so fun! I have used the sweet fun florals flower set from the stamp market for today's card.

a super quick cas card for a couple of challenges, the frshly made sketches and the inspiration challenge from scs. I luv making quick cards for christmas, it seems I have so many to make...last year I fell short and I am trying to do better this year. I have painted the watercolor background and then added a my mind's eye chipboard tree from the sugar plum collection. I added some stickles and then some pretty pink posh sequins. Have you started your christmas card yet?

playing along with the scs cas challenge, three trees challenge, and the sketch and scrap world card making month celebration. I have used the totally adorable stamp set from neat and tangled called winter wishes, such a cute set and perfect for the three trees challenge. A lightly colored watercolor splash background using prima marking confections...I luv these watercolors! The simon says stamp falling snow stencil and wendy vecchi embossing paste create the falling snow, so cute! Another simple and cute chrsitmas card for the stash!

today is the last day of falliday fest introductions and I am playing along with lori's christmas candy inspiration. I immediately was inspired by my nanny's homemade potato candy...yummo! She kept a bowl out, especially at christmas! I knew I wanted to go with kraft and white and the big 'ole snowflake and glittery star in the center came along with the process...I luv the outcome! it is amazing how we can be inspired by summin as simple as nanny's homemade potato candy! The snowflake is called funky snowflake and the sentiment is from merry everything stamp set; both are from simon says stamp. I have used simon gold embossing powder to emboss the snowflake and added chunky gold(champagne)glitter to the center to spotlight the star!

good morning it is my turn to host a falliday challenge and I have chosen the gorgoeus mood board/inspiration photo for us to use. I found louise's blog on pinteret and have been ooohhing and aaahhing over here inspiration since! I could make cards all day long based on her boards! I have used the awesome bold joy sentiment from concord & 9th and the darlin tree from reverse confetti. I used simon says stamp gold embossing powder, so gorgeous. I also used the simon says stamp falling snow stencil with wendy vecchi embossing paste. I can't wait to see what you create!

Another fun card for the dare to get dirty challenges at scs, I luv the dare to get dirty week...so many awesoem challenges and chatting...sure hope you play along! I have used ink splatter, watercoloring, paste embossing, and gems...super cute, pink, and girly...fun! I sponged the chipboard heart from heidi swapp these are from way back when...you know I luv my hearts, so I have been hoarding them...teeehehehe. Sticker sentiment again...luv!

I had a blast with this scs dare to get dirty challenge, I sure hope you are playing along....the link is below. I have used one of my favorite stamp sets evah from paper smooches, this is called best buds. I have used the prima confection paints to color the flowers...so fun. I used sticker words for the sentiment, so luv using these to create a unique sentiment.

playing along with a scs challenge today, I had fun with this one...it is all about tim holtz....I went girly though....teehehehe. If only I never had to work, I could get so much creating done...sigh. I have used favorite stencil from simon says stamp, it is the retired dots and lines. The flowers are cut from an mft die, called blueprints 5. The sentiment is from the simon stamp set, handwritten floral greetings....completed with twine and gemstones.

Have you seen the new simon says stamp release? It is called among the stars and this awesoem rainbow die is a part of that release! I created a rainbow of my favorite colors....aquas, blues, greens, and turquoise.....my favorite rainbow! I have used the super cute casual friday tag buddies dies, shown here. I have used lots of tim holtz mini distress inks, I am so luvin the mini inks pads stored in the sweet tins. I was inpsired by this weeks tag you're it challenge!

scs inspiration challenge/one layer cas

I wanted to play along with today's scs inspiration challenge, it is a hard one for me...one layer...eeeccckkk. I also used the sketch from freshly made sketches. I am in need of several sympathy cards and also need to replenish my stash. I reached for my favorite sympathy sentiment from Verve, deepest sympathy. I used the super sweet and super easy daisy stamp set from altenew for the flowers. The stamping makes it so easy to achieve the watercolor look that is so popular now. I hope you will play along with the scs one layer challenge!

I had a request for a language translator, I have added it to the right under my photo...thanks for asking and for following my blog......I luv my followers!

I am so luvin the new set from concord & 9th, the gorgeous sophisticated script can be used to create any sentiment you want....it is totally awesomesauce! I used several tim holtz distress inks to create the pinkish/red background, cutting out the heart shape with the concord & 9th layers of love heart die cut. The sweet polka dotted paper is from mft, it is called painted prints. I used black accents because this is prolly going to my hubs for valentines day. Of course I luv using black accents anytime....*grin*. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

A quick card playing along with match this sketch and today's scs inspiration challenge. I have all hearts on my mind, so I did not go with a winter theme. I did however go with the gorgeous photo, I so luv the pale blue background...sold me! A little pink/red and the black and white from the sweet bird. The stunning scribble heart is from simon says stamp latest release, you have my heart. The sentiment is from the winnie & walter set big, bold and comfort. Have you heard about the hop to stop? The sweet Becca Cruger is raising awareness for domestic violence. Purple is the color of national domestic violence awareness month, not a color I use often, but anything to help the sweet Becca in her quest! Playing along with SCS today, there inspiration challenge is amazing, it is all about cakes...yummy! I chose the peach ombre cake, I am not a big fan of ombre...I know I am in a minority...lol. I do however luv the mix of light and dark color; just not symmetrically, I am an asymmetrical  kind of gal...lol. So I mixed my hearts all up varying the light and dark...YAY, that makes me really, really happy! The super fun retro sketch was perfect for the idea I had floating in my head. My second card is using my ALL time favorite cake...really and truly...I adore this flirty polka dotted cake....it is the cuuuutest! It is from an original set called you know you're gettin old.....darlin sentiments and cute flip flops aaaaand polka dotted pillow! I colored the cake with my Zig clean color markers and then went back with a white sharpie and added a few white polka dots to the polka dots...fun!

A fun little card using the Simon Says Stamp card kit, the stamps and the puffy stickers are from the kit...sooo cute! I have embossed the sweet little green circles and then went back and used my white sharpie(totally luv my white sharpie) to add the smaller white dots on top.
