Welcome to our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop!

ETA: I use a 12 x 12 sheet of card stock for my tall & skinny cards, the size is 3.5" x 6"...fits perfectly in a business size envie!

It is tall & skinny week at the mojo monday blog, I so luv making these tall & skinny cards; I use a regular business size envelope to mail these, fits perfectly! I have used a watercolor background splitting the two colors keeping with the gist of the sketch. The stars are a Verve die, it is called starry die and it is on SALE! I had such fun with this card, Julee is giving away a free digi of this set, get yours here! You have until October 15 to pick it up. I used my Zig clean color markers to color it in, had to use plain white paper. Water color paper would not run through my Espen printer. I added a few gold gems to each of the leaves...total luv...*grin*. I luv using watercoloring on backgrounds. I use all sorts of stuff to get a different looks; stencils, craft sheet, stamping block, and even my fingers....lol. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

Mojo Monday/MOJO404-Praying For You

This weeks Mojo Monday is tall & skinny, a favorite of mine....I really should make them more often! They are super fun to create, if you have never tried it play along with us this week; Julee has created a super FAB sketch! I have used the new Verve sets Deco Borders and Floral Notes. The sweet heart is cut from glimmer paper and fun foam, luv this stuff....makes the entire shape lift! I played along with the card concept too, using a cleaned and layered design. Totally luv the silver Wendy Vecchi embossing paste dots background...luv embossing paste too! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

hello and happy Memorial Day to all of my USA friends, sure hope you have had a wonderful weekend...we have! I have used the Verve stamp set Button Best, such sweet flowers. I watercolored them with tim holtz and spectrum noir aqua markers. I used the gorgeous color combo from stampin royalty...so sweet. Mojo Monday/MOJO395-Happy Birthday Blessings

Good morning, I had such fun with this weeks Mojo Monday tall & skinny sketch! I played along with the Fusion inspiration challenge and was so inspired by Amy Tsuruta card, I tried my hand at my own watercolor stripes. I have seen this technique done by others too, but saw Amy's first....awesome card Amy! I used Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers, I blended two colors and brushed with a watercolor brush...such fun! I cannot wait to see what you create this week with the tall & skinny sketch. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

Welcome, who is feeling tall & skinny? lol, I am only in the card making area...it is Mojo Monday and it is tall & skinny week. I have used the new Verve set called Happy Place, sweet set. I pushed myself to use the colors from the Color Q this week, I struggle with purples; so I feel like I overcome my fear today...lol...I know it is a pink/purple, but none the less I used my purple colored pencil. I had a lot of fun with my card, these flowers are sooo fun...I luv'em. I can't wait to se what you create this week..sparkle & shine!

Mojo Monday/MOJO347-Be Blessed

Hello and Happy Memorial Day to all my US friends....hope you have the day off to enjoy time with family and friends! It is the last Monday of the month and you know what that means? Yep, you guessed it Tall & Skinny cards at the Mojo Monday Blog; I soooo luv making these sweet little babies! I go for the extra skinny and use a 12 x12 piece of card stock, here are the instructions.

The first size is 3.5 x 5.5" and fits a regular A2 envelope with a little room left over to let something (like the circle in this sketch) hang off the 3.5" side. You can use either of the following measurements, depending on where you want your fold.

• 3.5 x 11" cut of cardstock, score long side at 5.5"
• 5.5 x 7" cut of cardstock, score long side at 3.5"

For a little more skinny, you can try a 3.5 x 6" card to fit a regular No. 6 3/4 envelope (the ones that are about the size of a personal check).  Use either of the following measurements, depending on where you want your fold.

• 3.5 x 12" cut of cardstock, score long side at 6"
• 6 x 7" cut of cardstock, score long side at 3.5"

I have used the newly released Verve set Be Blessed, the entire release is a must have! I watercolored the flower using Tim Holtz Distressed markers, I adore this color combo together. Another fabby combo from The Color Throwdown gals...you ladies rock! Hope you have a super day...sparkle & shine!
