Stampers Dream-Becasue I Care

Hi friends, I have created a favorite square card using a tag...so sweet!  I have also used the new stamps from JustRite called Family Garden....I adore this flower sprigs..it has so many possibilities!  I added the tiny flowers that come in the set with pearls scattered throughout.  The sentiment is from the set Because I Care.  I also used the wonderful stain on my tag, it is by Tim Holtz...it is awesome!  The bottle has a dabber on the end so it is super simple to apply.....no mess and the coverage is spectacular!  I distressed the edges and then went back over with more stain so that it is darker, the beauty of this stain...with each layer it is darker or with a damp cloth it becomes lighter....luv it!  I used a white doily, ribbon, and May Arts burlap string to complete my card.  I hope that your weekend plans include a little creating fun......get out also and soak up the sun...enjoy!

Girly Friends

Happy Friday gals, I received a nice surprise from my boss yesterday after getting home...he wanted to know if I wanted today off...aahhh that would be "YES".  I am home today preparing for a craft sale that a few of my friends and I are having.  We are making room for new stuff and decided to have a sale.  I wish you lived close by..*grin*.  For today's card I used Mercy's sketch from last week, MTSC91, 411 Color Challenge, to use black and pink, and today's F4A31, to use scallops.  I ran the circle through the polka dotted embossing folder and then added stickles to the polka dots to give some glitter.  I added pom pom ribbon down the side, some sponging, and framed it all with scalloped rectangles.  I hope your day is great and your weekend is even better, thanks for stpping by and leaving such sweet comments!  Enjoy.

True Friendship

I created this for today's CAS56 to make a square card, I also used the sketch from 411 Challenges, SSC140.  I used Marie inspiration from Combat Boots to Rubber Stamps, B2S05 , I know it doesn't look lik it but my inspiration is the clean and simple look of this out door sitting area.  Head over to her blog and check it out!  I received in the mail today a box of goodies I ordered from Hope Stamps Eternal and I have to tell you I am so happy.  I ordered the new KaiserCraft Stamps and embellishment pack...wow.  The stamp is the one I used in today's card, KaiserCraft Peachy Keen, you can see the whole set here.  I also used my new EK Success punch called Slim Edger Dotted Scalloped.   I may not be around much this week, I am getting ready for the Verve release this Friday.  I hope you can join us at the Verve Blog for all the fun, it starts at 1:00 PM EST!  Enjoy!

Anything Is Possible

Good evening, I have created this for the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL78 and for Round 2 of the CAS DT call.
It is also for the Frosted Design Challenge to use a star. We where to make a creation based on the Olympic slopes (skiing or luge). I was inspired by of course the color of the USA flag, hills, and the fact that all of the competitors do the things they do make them a star....and "anything is possible" when watching the games!
I used the Verve set Seeing Stars and the EK Success large scalloped border punch. I added silver cord to the star, one I added stickles, and the other a lone gemstone. I hope you have a great day! Enjoy.

The tiny flower is from the Verve set Believe and the sentiment is from the Ippity set Just Wanted To Say.

Purple Bloom

Good morning, I have a very purple card for you today.....lol..... it is inspired by this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC45. This weeks bright cupcake was suggested by Lori King a reader of Hope Stamps Eternal. Can you believe I tried not to be inspired by the purple....lol..it didn't work. I used the Basicgrey Designer Paper Sugar Rush. I used the Martha Stewart Punch to scallop the edge, then I sponged it and added Zva Creative Pearls. The flower is a Basicgrey Bloomer.
I also used the sketch from Skipping Stones Designs, SSD010. I hope you can play along with us this week, you can find all sorts of ways to be inspired, it is totally up to you and your creativity.
This week is the first challenge with all of the new Sweeties, make sure to check out the Delicious treats everyone has created!

I created this card for the 411 color challenge and sketch challenge. I also played along with Marie McClellan From Boots to Rubber Stamps, B2S03 again, she has brought to you this bright sitting area to be inspired. I was inspired by the bold and brightness of the room. I wanted my card to have that same feel, really make a statement. I used the Verve set Feeling Groovy, the Faith sentiment is from Micheal's $1 spot. I have the flower stems coming out of the word. I cut the blooms out, added a red brad, and stickles. This fabulous designer paper is My Mind's Eye Love Me Do, I think this is sooooo sweet...red and yellow paired are awesome! I hope you can play along with some of these challenges today....enjoy!

Just Because

Good morning, it is mojo time again and this is a contest week. So show us your best mojo creation and you could win free Verve. To get all the details and to load your creation to Mr Linky head over to the Mojo Monday Blog.
I am super excited to share today's card for several reasons, one I adore this SU designer paper and the Verve set Love's Flower, no I am not tired of it yet....lol...you guys are probably tired of me using it...lol. The second reason I am super excited is because this is also for Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge #5 to use a box top. I used an empty glue dots box and cut out the heart shape an added SU chunky glitter. I add a pattern for the heart from an empty chipboard heart I used from Melissa Frances. I adore this idea, now I can make hearts shapes or any shape from chipboard and put any type of embellish I want on them...so cute. Thanks Winter for the challenge! I hope you gals have a great Monday, can you believe it is already February and my favorite non Christian holiday is fast approaching.....I am so mushy and gushy....show some "love" today! Enjoy.

I have needed lots of sympathy cards lately. This sketch is perfect to keep it a little more simple. This is my first time playing along with Stamping 411. Have a wonderful day....enjoy!
