Mojo Monday/MOJO250 It's Going To Be OKAY

Good morning mojo fans, I am sharing today's Mojo Monday sketch....fun, fun sketch today; I hope you join us and play along!  I also played along with OCC, it is a color/inspiration challenge.  I used a bluish/green with the pink and navy.  I luv any shade of green, so I knew I wanted to use it as my third color.  I am really happy with the finished card, it really makes the navy pop.  I used the Verve Plain Jane, Be Okay...it is a great encouragement sentiment!    Don't forget about the Verve Birthday sale, there are several divas with a birthday this month, me included...*grin*...and Julee...so we are celebrating with a sale!  Have a great day...enjoy!

Good morning friends, I am thrilled to share today's post...it is the depute of the Frilly & Funkie Challenge.  I sure hope you will join us and play along.  Our normal challenge format will be a new challenge theme every other Wednesday morning.  The first week, our Frilly designers will post their take on the theme and the second week the Funkie designers will share their interpretation of the theme.  However for our kick off, the challenge will be only one week and all our designers will share their take on the challenge theme.  Our theme for the kick off will be Your Favorite Vintage Style.  I have created a card with some of my favorite things, flowers, gemstones, distressing, stitching, and of course Paris......yes, you can say I am a frilly girl...luv all things shabby and girlie!  I purchased the Paris tag from this Etsy shop.  I also want to share with you, Linda's shop Funkie Junkie, there are numerous unique creating supplies!  I luv what she has to offer, things you cannot get anywhere.  Also, she has a great supply of Ranger/Tim Holtz at the best prices around...check them out here and here!  Lots more new items arriving very soon too!  I have also played along with OCC and The Paper Players.  I hope you have a great day...enjoy!

JustRite-Life Is Better With Friends

Good morning friends, I am able to be home with my dh while he is recovering ...thank you all very much again for the prayers and well wishes!  I have created a simple card, but quite striking using those amazing Websters Pages Bloomers....these are so gorgeous!  I covered the adorable butterfly with glass glitter(luv), and a button with bakers twine.  I used the Spread Your Wings JustRite Cling set, I only used the sentiment today but I am anxious to use the bird cage images...it is so vintage and fun!  I have used the Spellbinder Ribbon Banners to showcase the sentiment, I luv these banners!  I added a little zig zag stitching and a small amount of distressing.  When I think of friendship, it reminds of this quote...."The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart."  I have also added some new cards to my Etsy shop, Paperie Blooms, be sure to check them out.  Have a super amazing day.....enjoy!

Sweetest Things

Good evening, I wanted to try my hand at this months MFT guest designer position, the theme is shabby/chic.  I also used the MFT sketch, after tweaking it a bit...hehehe.  I was recently given a gift certificate to MFT and I got the set I am using today, Polka Dot Greetings; it comes with the die too....how great is that?  I used distressing, stitching, lace trim, crinkled ribbon, and my beloved glass glitter.  I used the MFT rosette die to make my paper rosette flower.  I am headed back to work next week...sigh...I will work a couple of weeks and try for another week off.....yippie!  I hope you have a great start to your week and don't forget to come back in the am for my Mojo Monday Sketch card......enjoy!

CAS-Thinking Of You

Good evening, I have created a CAS card for several challenges....yes, I am a challenge junkie...lol.  I used a SU set, my poor SU sets are very neglected, I do not have many but cannot seem to find time to use them.  I needed a tree image so I reached for this sweet little tree, so cute...don't ya think?  I used dry embossing, a sponged tag, and bakers twine to complete my card.  It is gearing up to be another busy week, I do hope you can find time to create....I always feel better after completing a card, especially if I have a special someone to send it to.  Hope your weekend is going fabby....enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Happy Valentine's Day

Good morning mojo peeps, I am sharing with you today this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch, MOJO173; what a fun sketch.  I used the ticket die again for my main panel, from Lifestyles.  I used the paper from Pink Paislee, the Parisian Anthology collection for the background piece, very cool designer paper!  The main panel paper is Webster's Pages, I added lace trim down the center with bakers twine and precious Memory Thread.  My good friend Michelle uses the Memory Thread and I luv the look!  It is finished with a tiny silver button, it is very hard to see in the photo.  I punched out three tiny red hearts and stacked them down the side.  I hope you will join us this week and play with the mojo sketch and be sure to check out the other mojo makers creations.  Me inspiration came from the OCCC bird photo, isn't it gorgeous?  I wish you a very blessed day...enjoy!

Good morning, the day has finally come, I can let you in on a super exciting secret I have been keeping.  Michelle from Stampers Dream has asked me to be apart of the Dream Team...eeekkkkk....I graciously said yes!  If you are not familiar with Stampers Dream do check it out, the store is full of the latest stamps, papers, and embellishments.  Great names like, Basicgrey, Impression Obsession,  Just Rite, Tim Holtz, My Mind's Eye, Cosmo Cricket, and many, many more...head over and check it out!
My card I am sharing today, is using the fabulous tree set from Impression Obsession, this tree is wonderful!  I used a new technique from yesterday's TLC294 Wet Paper Stamping, it gives your image a smeared look, but it is really gorgeous! I used the so fun paper pack from My Mind's Eye, I Believe and a Tim Holtzs border die, some stitching, distressing, and embossing to complete my Christmas card.  The sweet sentiment is from the set Stampendous Christmas Retreat.  This is also the sketch for OCC.  Be sure to look for my Stampers' Dream creations in the future!  Enjoy.

Cupcakes...Yummy!

I have two cards to share tonight, this is a super short post...I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  I will have some other creations to share this weekend!  The first card is for the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL94 and for The Color Throwdown, CTD96.  It is also my submission to The Tuesday Trigger inspiration challenge, the ice cream inspired me to make a cupcake card, I luv cupcakes but really luv them with ice cream...yummy.  I used the Verve set Cupcake Affair.

This card is for the OCC Sketch Challenge, OCCSC19 and for Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 33.  I used SU Butterfly die and the sentiment is PTI.  I luv this sketch, it is square...I have been on the square cards lately.  Enjoy!
