Our Daily Bread Designs-The Word

Hello, I have a card to share with you today using the latest release stamps from Our Daily Bread.  I have had a great time guesting for these ladies, they are a super special group of woman....thank you all!  I have used the new set The Word of God.  I have made it look distressed and vintage, I heat embossed the scripture over the lamp and Bible image.  I played along with a couple of challenges, this is my first time playing along with Jen's Deconstructed sketch.  I have been skeered to play along with these ladies, they all color and I do not very often.  I really like the sketches, so I am giving it a try.  I hope you have a super fabby day and are planning great memories with family and friends....enjoy!

Our Daily Bread Designs Enjoy The Little Things

Hello friends, I have been in the holiday spirit all week, I cannot wait to spend time with family.  I am very excited about the gifts I have gotten for everyone.  I have made homemade ornaments to give and as well as special packaging.  That brings me to the sentiment that i am sharing today, "enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and realize they were the BIG things".  I try to make every effort to do this, I do seem to get the most joy from smaller things!  This sentiment is from the latest Our Daily Bread release, you can get yours here.  I used scrap cardboard to make the star and then covered it with glass glitter.  I used distressing, lace trim, and seam binding with a couple of pins.  Make the most of the little things...they really do tun out to mean the most...enjoy!

Our Daily Bread Designs Blessings To You

Hello friends,  I am sharing a card made with Our Daily Bread design new release stamps.  This set coordinates with the Spellbinders Ornament 2 Dies, it is called Ornaments 2 and has an adorable Christmas tree too.  These ornaments are so pretty, I have kept my card CAS and just added a few gemstones and some glass glitter on the edges of the main panel.  The sentiment reads "Blessings to you as you celebrate this sacred season!"  so fitting for the Christmas season.  I have played along with the Unscripted sketch challenge, I have not had time to join these ladies in awhile so it was fun to play along.  I am counting the days until Friday, the dh and I have next week off and have some shopping planned as well as some family time.  I hope you have a super week, head over to Our Daily Bread and check out the awesome scripture stamps they have....I am headed there myself to take a peek.  Have a wonderful week.....I am sharing a Christmas quote with you...enjoy!

Our Daily Bread Designs Stamping In Time Challenge

I have the great pleasure of playing along with the gals at Our Daily Bread Stamping In Time Challenge this week.  You can see all the creations here.  Next in line is super talented Betty Wright.  I have created this using the new release stamp set from Our Daily Bread, the scripture sentiment is one I remind myself of a lot in life.  When the times are tuff, we always need to be glad and rejoice...it is not easy to do but it is something that will bring great peace. The bird image, is a pre printed card, I purchased them from this Etsy shop.  I have made the stars myself, I really enjoy making these...I used scrap cardboard and then cover with SU Crystal Effects and glitter...I added a pretty pink button to each one.  Be sure to check out the new stamps from Our Daily Bread, I am loving this months release and it is great timing for Christmas cards.  I hope you have a super day, I am a busy bee getting ready for a craft show that me and my creating bff's are doing this Saturday.  We do not do these normally but are looking forward to this Christmas show.  I want to leave you with a favorite scripture of mine, it is one that gives me so much hope...you can get it here!

Our Daily Bread Designs Guest Spot

Good morning, I am super excited to share my card with you today because I have been keeping a little secret.  I am pleased to announce that I will be guest designing for Our Daily Bread Designs this month and next...woohoo!  I could not be happier to be working with such gorgeous images, I am sharing a little peek with you today as to what will be released next week.  This sets coordinates with the Spellbinders Ornaments 2 dies.  I have used  pink gemstones to adorn the tree, so sweet.  I covered the entire images with Martha Stewart glitter, I used a very thin layer of SU crystal effects and then added the glitter.  I was inspired by a card of Mona's here.   I have used white lace trim just beneath the seam binding ribbon, not sure if you can see it, but it is there and it is sweet.  I luv using non traditional colors for Christmas, do you?  If you have not started on your Christmas cards, these Christmas stamps from ODBD is a great way to start.  Hope your day is awesome...enjoy!
