freshly made sketches/fms325 - today is filled with possibilities

hi friends, it is time for another amazing freshly made sketch....I am luvin playing along with these gals and the amazing sketches! I have used a bit of a watercolor splash background and then sponged the sweet flower shape over top of the watercolor. The sentiment is a simple stories sentiment sticker. I have used my favorite colors and a few taylored expressions sequins...fun sketch! Be sure to stop by the other gals blogs and see what they have created!

inspired by - be in the moment

super fun inspiration photo this week from laurel for the inspired by challenge. I went with a lot of white space and a pretty red flower is from the stamp market, watercolor bouquet stamps and dies. It was a red stamped flower in my stash, I added some dimension to it by using a colored pencil to add some lines and details. I paired it with simon says stamp clustered leaves die. The sentiment is from pinkfresh studio live more stickers. A few ink splatters, copper sequins in the center of the flower, and some gold stickles on the flower too; add to the interpretation of the glossy cherries on the cheesecake.

The design team is using products from penny black, some super fun dies in their stock, check'em out! Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

hello friends, we are adding a die cut or two today. I am luvin, I mean truly luvin this leaf die from penny black called berry branch...so sweet with the berries. We all know I luv flowers, but I have a confession...I secretly luv leaves just as much! I like pairing different leaves and flowers together...eeeehhhh. I enjoy creating a few extras when I am stamping and then add them to my little box of goodies/leftovers. When I need a quick card, I reach for it every time and pick out a cute little combo! I used the frame die cut from polka dotted paper, added it to the watercolor splash background, and layered it all for a fun card! I can't wait to see what you create!

freshly made sketches/fms324 - me & you, love always

hi friends, I thought this weeks freshly made sketch would be perfect for the hubbys valentine card. I added a bit of a watercolor background and then starting adding elements that I have in a little stash box. well, actually I have several little stash boxes; one for valentines/love, one for christmas, flowers, leaves, hearts, stars, sentiments, and the list goes on and on. I save the leftovers from making other cards so that I can piece them together later for a fun card, I luv doing this! I added a few gold enamels hearts and dots and luv how it turned out! Be sure to stop by the rest of the teams blogs, these ladies amaze me with their talent!

as you see it - wake up and be awesome

today we are challenging you to go back to the beginning of your crafting days and use your first stamp or tool. Mine was the distressing tool and I still luv using it today. I used to tear paper, distress it, and use stickers a lot for sentiments. So my card today is based on all three of those things. I added a bit of ink splatter and a few clear sequins. This will be fun, I can't wait to see what you share! Be sure to stop by the rest of the teams blogs and see what they are sharing this week!

welcoem to the second official week of inspired by, what an amazing team laurel has put together! you are gonna want to play along for sure! I was inspired by the snow and the snail mail delivery. I have used a paste embossing background and then added a few favorite elements. The heart is watercolored and it is from lil inker, the sentiment is verve, the got mail on the envelope is right at home and the flowers are reverse confetti. A super fun card to put together and it is going out to a very special friend...for realz! I can't wait to see what you create and I encourage you to send the card you make!
