Sassy Halloween Witch.

Good morning everyone!! It seems to be clearing up a bit over here in Georgia. I spent the entire weekend out in the rain trying to keep as dry as I could as I watched the girls playing Lacrosse. They did really well! They came in 2nd place.. only losing to the one team twice.. in regular play and then in the final. It was good to see them winning. Now it is Monday once again and time to get back in the routine of things. I'm still feel wet to the bone LOL  Too much wet! And exhausted! Have a great Monday everyone!!

Here is my card for today:









I've used a Sassy Studio image for this card. I've colored her with Copic Markers and I've done a small bit of layering. I added some Wink of Stella to her white on her dress and her hat buckle. Behind her I have created that rectangle with different shades of Distress ink, some water splatter and some spritz spattered as well. The rectangle is a My Favorite Things die. I've added some inking around the edges of the white paper and some stitching around the edges. The papers are all scraps. I stamped the Happy Halloween and added 3 Candi to the corner of the rectangle to keep with the color theme. I added a bit of stitching to the inside and 3 additional Candi.

Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #26 Midway Post

For this card I've used Bella Bride from Sassy Studio Designs. I have layered her dress a little bit. I've added pearl swirls, Spellbinder Die Cuts and the rolled roses are from My Favorite Things. I added some white lace with some white ribbon underneath it. The border heart die is Memory Box and I also embossed with my dots embossing folder. I have colored her hair, eyes and skin with my Copic Markers. I used some of the negative cut hearts from the border on the inside.

Here is one of my creations using a sponsor image from Digital Delights:







This is my All White creation using Snowball Sarah from Digital Delights. I embossed some of the paper with my snowflake embossing folder. I used Spellbinder dies and layered them. I used a couple of gems and some white ribbon. I also added some glitter to the snowballs and used my Snow Marker for the hat and fur around her boots. I colored her hair and skin with Copic Markers.

Animal Antics at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.

Good morning everyone!!  Another happy Saturday. It is going to be beautiful here. I took the motorcycle test yesterday, so I have my license and we are going to go for a ride today. It is going to be perfect weather! This morning we are going to head to Atlanta to have breakfast with my sister and then we are going to head to Madison I think. The kids and the dogs will hold down the fort for a few hours :)

Here is my first creation:

For this card I've used Flying Monkey Sassy from Sassy Studio Designs. The papers are from a DCWV Stack - Animal Crackers. I've colored the image with my Copic markers and I have decoupaged the image a bit. The oval and scalloped oval are Spellbinders dies. I created the sentiment and added the gem. That's it!  I love Sassy Studio images. She is fantastic! There are a whole set of Wizard of Oz Sassy's too and they are all fantastic!

Flowers Flowers Flowers at Crafting When We Can

Good morning everyone! And Happy Sunday! Last night I had a house full of 7 girls. They weren't too bad except for a few times of jumping around a bit much and screaming. That's girls! I think they were bothering Kevin a bit LOL It's bad enough he is in a house full of girls and then adding a bunch more on to it... a bit much I think! But this morning they will all head home and Bailey will have a heck of a cleanup on her hands! I warned her ahead of time that she would have to clean up the mess and that she should get everyone to throw away their stuff! Kevin even put a huge trash can up there for them. Okay... enough of that :)

Crafting When We Can Personalize It!

I decided to make a card for my oldest daughter since she will be finishing up her first year of college in another week and coming home for the summer. I hope she will like it!

I used Katniss Girl On Fire from Sassy Studio Designs. I colored her with Copic. I added blooms and gems and a swirl of gems. The dies are from Spellbinders. This was a fun image to color up and I think she turned out pretty nice.

My movie theme is "Mary Poppins". I used a Sassy Studio Designs image - Mary Poppins. I used a Memory Box swirl. I used an edge punch on the blue. I took the pieces that were punched out and used them as accents as well. I used blue and red rhinestones as accents. I distressed the edges of the black paper. The sentiment is from Sentimental Susan. I popped some of the image as well. The image was colored with Copic.
