Beccy's Place October New Release - Country Christmas

Beccy has designed another holiday inspired set this month called Country Christmas.  You can find this digital set at Beccy's Place online store now.

I've created two project featuring the new set.  The first clean and simple card was printed onto kraft card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Stickles were added for dimension.  I really liked how the hanging stars fit perfectly onto the sentiment!

A second project started by recycling a wood block which was left over after removing the rubber mounted stamp.  The block was painted with acrylic paint.  The pre-colored image was merged onto  sheet music then printed and glued to the block.  Additional paints and splatter were added.  I finished with the burlap ribbon edging and Stickles on the ornaments.

Be sure to stop by Beccy's Place store to find this set and many others.  Beccy also generously provides many free digital images, tutorials, videos and card fold ideas.   Beccy also offers her designs in clear sets.  You can find a list of retailers on her blog as well.

HMFMC#388 Anything Goes Anything Goes Option of Water

Misti is hostessing at the House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog.  She included an option of Water for our challenge projects.  My card features House Mouse Designs Puddle Jumpers.  The image was colored with Tombow Markers and layered onto papers from Pebbles Inc and American Crafts.

Blue Stickles were applied to the rain drops with a few raindrop gems for texture.  The cloudy dies are from Memory Box.  I thought the sentiment from My Favorite Things worked perfectly.

Tropical Anniversary Wishes

This is a special Anniversary card going to my cousin and his wife.  They will be celebrating their 5th Wedding Anniversary and just returned from Cozumel, Mexico where they honeymooned.

My clean and simple design features a lovely beach scene from Stampendous called Beachfront Boat N234.  It was stamped and heat embossed on water color paper.  I used distress ink, Tombow markers and Hero Arts Reactive inks to water color the scene.  A sentiment from Hero Arts and Stickles on the water completes the card.

I created my card using the top row of the optional bingo grid. The digital image was layered onto older papers in my stash from Doodlebug Take Note paper pad.  I used my favorite "Bright" colors and Beccy's freebie digital image.

Di's Digi Design Challenge - Embellish It Awesome

I'm joining the current Embellish It Awesome challenge at Di's Digi Design with this Di's adorable Daisy Bear image.  I picked up this guy from the shop for $1.00 this morning!

The bear was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended.  The flowers and butterfly were colored with alcohol markers I recently bought at Tuesday Morning.  I LOVE the bright yellow!  So cheerful!
I fussy cut the image and layered with a couple of patterned papers from Pebbles using the Mojo 533 sketch.

Art Impressions Challenge #149 - Feeling Frosty

Art Impressions is embracing the winter
this week with a "Feeling Frosty" challenge.

Although we don't have penguins in Alaska,
would work perfectly for a frosty card.

The stamp was embossed with CTMH Black embossing powder
and colored with Copic marker then fussy cut.

The snowy background was created using the Country Landscape die
from Memory Box.  I tore a couple of strips from white cardstock
then applied Stickles to the edge for snowy shimmer and dimension.
Finally, I applied a line of glue to the edge of the base panel
and sprinkled on Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter Faux Snow.

I really like how this frosty card turned out!

Meljen's Designs Challenge #193 - A Sticky Situation

Welcome to a new Meljen's Design Challenge.

This week were are challenging you to
a "Sticky Situation" - use stickers
on your project.  And don't forget to use one
of the fun images from the Meljen's Designs shop.

It was a quick decision for me to combine this week's
challenge with a fun vacation layout.
Miscellaneous letter stickers (from my stash) and a couple of
clear stickers were used in keeping with the challenge theme this week.

Meljen's has several BEACH themed images so this
was super easy to pull together.

I printed the "Sand Castle COLOR" directly onto the
designer paper.  I printed it again on white card stock and
fussy cut the various sections of the castle.  I applied Flower Soft
to the sandy edges and Stickles to the shells.  I adhered the pieces with
foam tape to give dimension.  Hopefully, you can see that in the
following photos.

I printed the "Summer Sun" image on orange and yellow
card stock then fussy cut and applied Stickles.
I also added dimensional glaze to the sunglasses.

Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!
I hope my little project has inspired you to print
out a Meljen's image, grab your stickers and create.
Be sure to check out all of the design team inspiration
and the challenge details on the BLOG.

I'm also entering this layout in the
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Anything Goes.
