Okay New Starts for a New year

First new start is Welcome by Alesandra Adelaide Needleworks

And the second new start is a well I am hoping to be a sort of shawl/Scarf thing but just using the basic granny Stripe from Lucy's Attic.

I am using Sirdar Kiko super chunky wool Shade 0413 and size 10.0mm hook.

I am hoping to sort out a monthly craft group at where I work but not sure if there will be much interest, Hopefully if I market it properly then it will happen.

I have been very busy since last year, I am working now and I moved house so still trying to get sorted. I think that is why my interest in my crafts has come back.
Well hopefully my posts won't be so long in between!

IHSWeekend

This weekend's progress
This is my version of Lucy's Flower
I think the stem on mine is too chunky but I like it!

***

Here is the March Cottage finished, I have omitted some parts of the design to suit me.
Yay!!

***
And I have finished off two small blankets, by tidying the ends in, these will be used in the Cat Cabin.

***
I have also had another finish this design is called Sew Red from iStitch designs
Yay!!
I used some thread I bought from the Quilt show last year.

***
And Sunday was the Scout Hut Nutters Crafters group again, Which I managed to get all this done whilst here(well most of it) That is me right on the end, my Daughter is the one taking the photo otherwise she would be in it as well.

I do love attending these days!

Lorna and Jo from my last post are in the line up!!

Next month it is over two days. And I am aiming to go both days, it is 30 mins drive away from me.
Some ladies are local some travel more than me, so I can't complain.

Thank you for visiting!

I just had to!!

Seeing all those cottages in blogs all over, I just had to! they screamed at me...honestly they did!!
The CCN Monthly cottages January and February, not seen the March one for sale yet.

Not sure if you can see the white on white, but I couldn't wait to dye my fabric so I just started.

But I am not sure about the size as these are stitching up quite big, I am thinking 1/1 instead of 2/2.
I have left the needle in the top one so you can see how big it is.
I don't know as I wanted to stitch them on the same piece of fabric , I don't think it will be big enough, and my brain doesn't want to try and work it out yet, maybe in the morning!! lol

No colour as I haven't got all the colours, waiting for my delivery from Sew and so.

Are you stitching these? what count are you using?

I am also stitching for an exchange so I cannot share that yet,at least until the end of March !! eeek!!

I have started attending Zumba, so hopefully I can get rid of some more weight this year!
My foster cat is doing better now settling in a little, it is going to be hard when it is time to say bye !!
Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs Rachael xx

Sorry Santa, I have been naughty!!!

As I haven't shared my stitching, well the little bit I did do!!
Here are two of the reindeers designed by Sharon at It's Daffycat.

They are just adorable, I do have the two others to do as well.

Here is the second baby sampler I have been asked to do for a friend of my sisters, I really need to crack on with it soon!!

I have a finish

I started this when I got the JCS ornie mag, it was one that jumped out at me.
But with losing my stitchy bug it has been put aside.

I just have to show you these pics of Tango, here he is in my chair playing with the baubles on the tree whilst relaxing...LOL

and this one is in the tree in our garden, the cats have found an empty nest and keep climbing up to sit in it, but watching the cats get down the tree is hilarious, Tango seems to tumble down!
