Looking for a new Upper

Here is basically the upper I am looking for. I have had to admit to myself that I have a suppressor habit. I can stop any time I want!! It's a 10 in SBR with a dedicated can.

Yes, I know that suppressors on AR15s don't make them silent. It takes the edge way off to the point you can shoot without hearing protection.

I have the day off today.

I saw this gun in my Facebook feed this morning. This was some serious,high tech,tactical, goodness back in the day.

You had to be in some bad mojo if you were carrying this around. It's an open pan flintlock. There would be loose black powder in that pan as you walked around.

Random Thought Tuesday

A friend emailed the pic to the right. I know its silly. I know the ballistics are whacked. I know it's not comfy to shoot. I still want one.

My daughter turns 21 years old tomorrow. She wants to go to the range on her Birthday. Then take me to a bar and buy me a drink.

New Chapters will begin.

My sons car is in the shop getting it's windshield replaced. He had his first fender bender last week. We may be car shopping soon. I hate car shopping.

My Christmas shopping is not done yet. My List, for me, is done (See pic).

Custom M712 Schnellfeuer!

A friend and reader sent me a link to this cool custom M712 Schnellfeuer from a website that I can't read.

I really wish someone make this for real. If I had one I would SBR or AOW the rig and put a drop grip in the front.

Gun Porn: Short Shotgun

I know they are not very useful, but I still love me some short shotguns. One of the basic problems with a short shotgun is their ammo capacity. I saw this puppy on Pinterest.com and thought it would be awesome with a pistol grip!

Mag fed is awesome. I would pistol grip this and add a single point sling and have a pile of fun!

--I have that shoulder stock on another shotgun already!

Finishes

I saw another pic of stocks that I really like.

I think we need a wider variety in finishes of firearm furniture.

It is hard to find them. They are probably all custom for now.

Handgun grips are easier. Good selection there.
