One Melrose Place, Beirut

This is another new brand for us (they possibly only have this store?).  Anyway, with a good old nod to the London-look complete with traditional telephone box and a bit of urban graffiti is One Melrose Place.  We didn't have time to pop in here to have a peruse at the merchandise and although the window is not hugely lavish they have had a go at producing a somewhat interesting scheme.

Patchi, Beirut

Apparently this is the largest Chocolatier here in Lebanon and although we have never come across this brand ourselves previously, they do supply to places such as Harrods back in the UK.  We had no idea that Chocolate was such a big industry here.  Founded in 1974 this brand is huge across the Middle East and great to see such an interesting scheme for what is usually such a small product.

Hermes, Beirut

We're in Beirut currently searching for inspiration and naturally looking at the store windows here.  And so we begin with the staggering Hermes which as always looks incredible and amazingly so wonderfully different from the flagship store back in London.  The current theme, under the sea complete with giant shells and of course typical tropical sea life.

Aishti, Beirut

Launching their SS17 campaign Aishti, Beirut is looking amazing.  Who knew there were such cool stores in this part of the world?  Their 'Upside Down' campaign has these incredible huge rotating vinyl discs which create a frame around the incredible product as part of this reversed marine world installation.  Many thanks to Arte Vetrina project for sharing these with us.

Aizone, Beirut

With their references to bold graphic illustrations and a huge nod to Pop Art and Surrealism, the guys at Arte Vetrina Project have created this incredible installation at Aizone in Beirut.  Generally, two dimensional images depict three dimensional forms which Sagmeister and Walsh have played with and created two dimensional images of three dimensional forms.  How great to see such fantastic creativity in retail store windows from around the world.

Aishti, Middle East

We don't know this brand across the Middle East so it really was such a pleasure to view such amazing quality Visual Merchandising being implemented outside the main VM cities of the world.  The images here are a mixture taken from their stores in Beirut and Kuwait.  The stores themselves are luxury boutiques housing the worlds top brands; just check out their website http://www.aishti.com and have a look. The installation here is based on their current brand campaign; light boxes with images of models faces have been suspended in front of the mannequins heads with key words in vinyl on the fenestration.  A great mixture of symmetry, repetition and gravity dynamics by those clever guys at Arte Vetrina Project.  Check out their site too www.artevetrinaproject.it
