Missoni, Paris

How beautiful is the backdrop to Missoni's product.  The beautiful Blue crystal installation appears to be a slight nod to Roger Hiorns Seizure installation from 2008 which was in place within a council property in Elephant and Castle, South East London and eventually bagged him the uber prestigious Turner Prize.  The installation was eventually lifted (all 32 tonnes of it) and transported to the Yorkshire sculpture park.

Moschino, Paris

While this is not the most inspiring scheme from this brand (at this store at least) we did want to share it with you as this is what is happening right now out there.  The windows for this store are incredibly small and very awkward to use and squeezing in two mannequins in each probably wasn't the best choice.  However just inside the store is of course their out sized and neon lit Moschino handbag.

Moncler, Paris

Who could not adore this installation from Moncler here in Paris right now.  This is our favourite store for this brand as they always produce such amazing props here and are so very welcoming whenever we ask if we can capture their schemes to share with you.  Featuring giant sized bears and a wall covered in, what appears to be natural wool dyed in these beautiful shades, this is yet another killer scheme from this brand.

Moynat, Paris

Wasn't it Chanel that did their last catwalk show across a set which looked like the roof tops of Paris?  Here at Moynat we have a similar style installation, albeit in miniature of course.  We come across an interesting article about the development of this particular bag, the Moynat Rejane although for some reason we are no longer able to find it and share the highlights with you.  So, in the meantime just drool at the window of this brand and wish you owned one of these little beauties.

Pinko, Paris

We come across this brand from time to time although don't know a lot about them.  We have had a look at their website and it appears that they don't have a store in London although they do have a significant amount of stores (apparently 500 of them) everywhere else around the world.  Anyway, we have seen some interesting schemes from them in the past, particularly in Milan, and this is their latest installation here in Paris.

This is a brand you don't hear of very often although they are probably best known for their perfumes rather than fashion these days.  We did a quick search for this company and it transpires that they are now owned by the Puig group of companies  which were not familiar with ourselves before now and that they own the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier and Penhaligons.

Louis Vuitton, Paris

Naturally any visit to Paris could never not include a good peruse of the this brand and of course this phenomenal scheme which appears to be rocking just about everywhere across social media right now.  Amazing 3-D letters and logos in fantastic neon colours is the current scheme at Louis Vuitton.  As one would expect with a brand of this size, windows around the world contain variations of this scheme -  we just wish we could get around to see them all.

David Morris, Paris

This is the kind of retail brand which will probably never see our (sadly not) well heeled feet cross its threshold.  There is however something quite magical about luxury brands which compels us to take a closer look and naturally anything visual draws us in.  The interesting thing we are finding about luxury brands in this part of the world is that unlike most other cities is that the security guys (it always seems to be males) tend to hang around outside of the entrances rather than inside, ya'know just like Eastern European nightclub doormen.  This is something we have only just noticed.  So, just in case you were already intimidated and didn't like to enter into a luxury brand store for whatever reason it all just got that little bit more scary for you.

We noticed these amazing props at this brand back in London at their stores along Bond street and Sloane street although all of their windows have those horrible security grilles obscuring everything so we haven't managed to capture anything to share with you.  However, here in Paris it's a very different story and the windows can be viewed in all their glory.   Just look at these little beauties.

We had never heard of this brand previously although we dont tend to buy handbags very often.  However, after just a cursory glance across the web it transpires that they have numerous stores across the world and superb quality products too.  There isnt a lot of information about the brand on their website so no heritage to speak of however a great new find nonetheless and an interesting window installation at their store along the Rue St Honore.

Balenciaga, Paris

We had previously seen the mannequins used at this brand back in London although only on line.  There is something quite unnerving about viewing the figures here as they appear to be a superb Museum / Tussauds-like quality and therefore extremely realistic.  Just check the below positioned at the front of their windows here along the Rue Saint Honore.  Additionally, great use of the chairs as a means to present the product.

We had, sort of, expected to have seen this brands Christmas installation in place at this point or at least find the same scheme as their London store, however we are presented with quite an odd structure for their clearly gorgeous footwear.   Apart from this, there really isn't much else we can comment on apart from how great to be able to see into this store from the high street.

Longchamp, Paris

You can just about see the porthole windows from this brand in the reflection of their store opposite.  However in this store large letters and an outline of a handbag in vinyl placed on the fenestration together with a strip of Blue is the scheme here right now.  We're guessing that this is a slightly more specialist store which appears to be selling personalised bags.  So, if you what them to atelier your pliage then get ya'self down to the Rue St. Honore right now.
