I googled "How do you note step children in a family tree" and yours came up second. I've printed off your "Key" on the tree -- thanks for letting me "borrow" your ideas. I, like you, want to note down different releationships in a family with alot of "yours, mine and our children, etc.
Jeff's reply: Thanks. Glad it helped. Most or all real family tree software will let you record multiple marriages, assigning the children to the correct pair of parents. Unfortunately they don't always show up as I like in the trees and some of the reports though. | |||
