Hello - and HAPPY STAMPtember - a month long party by Simon Says Stamp to celebrate all things stamping.
Today we are getting to see the next in the progression of the special SUPER SECRET collaboration stamp sets that will be happening throughout the month! Today we have...My Favorite Things!
I paired up two of the sweet kitties in the stamp set to create a simple and fun little scene:
I started off by stamping those two kitties on white cardstock, then stamping again on masking paper and just fussy cutting out the very bottom of the images to use as a mask. I added a line of Post It Tape across the top to mask the rest, and then blended two colors of Distress Oxide inks to create a ground for the kitties to sit on. I peeled off the mask, and carefully colored in the kitties. I think I was feeling inspired by the colors of fall as I created this!
Next, I die cut a circle window from another panel of white cardstock, then mounted that with foam adhesive over the kitties so you could see them through the window. Mounted it on a soft gray cardbase, then added the sentiment heat embossed in white on black cardstock, and mounted with more foam adhesive. Finished off with a few enamel dots for texture and fun!
