Interactive Typewriter Card - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share another card using the new February 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Love Story! This month's kit is full of vintage fun! The included Slider Typewriter and Camera stamp set has such a vintage feel, and a coordinating die with an interactive element (LOVE this one so much!) there is a fun embossing folder, lovely pattern paper and gorgeous ephemera...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, embellishments, and more!

Today's card is a super simple and fun INTERACTIVE card! In the first photo above, you can see what it looks like, until you follow the directions and pull the little slider up to reveal the hidden message!  I added a slightly wider strip of cardstock attached to the bottom, so it wouldn't slide all the way out of the opening cut in the typewriter. So fun! Backed with some wonky layers of the pattern paper in the kit to add some color and texture - and a few of the little ephemera bits on there as well! Here are some more photos of it with the interactive part engaged:

Romantic Layered Ephemera Cards - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first cards using the new February 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Love Story!

I feel in love with the beautiful ephemera, and couldn't stop at just one card - so I created a set of 3! I used foam adhesive to pop them up for dimension and layers, and added sentiments from the Slider Typewriter and Camera stamp set in the kit - isn't that font so simple and fun? I rounded off one corner on each card for interest, and finished off with one of the Sparkly Hearts gem stickers in the kit. Here are closer looks at all these cards:

Pattern Paper Note Cards - Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share a couple more cards using the BRAND NEW March 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Happy Hello! This month's kit is has a lovely folk art and vintage feel that I love! The included stamp set by the same name has adorable images and sentiments, there is a cute phrase die, some gorgeous pattern paper, a full size ink pad, a fun heat embossing tool, some embossing powder...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

I naturally loved the gorgeous pattern paper in the kit, so I really wanted to let it shine on a couple more cards!

All the paper is double sided, which is both a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that you have two options, if you don't love one side of a paper. The curse is that you have to choose if you love them both! Haha!

There were some pieces with premade panels, so I trimmed my two favorites from those to create my cards. You could easily have made up to 8 cards if you used them all though!

I matted them with a bit of white cardstock, to help them pop off the backgrounds.

I grabbed some scraps of the pattern paper to make a little decorative tab at the top of each one, folding the strip in half and attaching it to the front and back. It felt like it needed something, so I cut out the tiniest heart from Nested Round Hearts (isn't it the CUTEST?!?) - and added it on the tabs.

Finished off with some coordinating pattern paper behind each one, and white cardbases. I also used a touch of Big Momma foam tape to adhere the front panels, so I got a bit of dimension, but not too much. These would still be fairly easy to mail - yay!

Hearts and Folk Art - Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit

Hello! I'm more on top of things this month, so popping in to share my first cards using the BRAND NEW March 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Happy Hello!

I'm starting by sharing two cards using this kit - it's no surprise that I was in love with this lovely pattern paper, so you know I had to mix and match lots of that on my cards!

For this first card, I started off by heat embossing the main image from the Happy Hello stamp set in white on some of the included Smoke cardstock. I was delighted to find that the largest of the Nested Round Hearts dies I purchased from the last release was the perfect size to die cut that heat embossed image!

Next, I played with different layers of pattern paper. I love mixing pattern paper from one paper pad, since the tones usually mix and match together so well. And I LOVE layering different colors and patterns together on cards!

Sentiment is also from the stamp set, stamped in black, and hand trimmed into a small banner shape.

I used Simon Says Stamp Big Momma foam tape to adhere some of the layers together. It's one of my favorites, because the thickness of it is less than standard foam tape I've noticed. So I can get dimension, but if I want it between two layers, it doesn't make my card quite so thick and bulky!

Next up, I love using leftovers from other cards, so I put the negative piece from the heart on the last card to good use, along with some pattern paper scraps from the kit!

This card is so simple, but it might be one of my favorites! I was so glad I didn't throw away the leftovers from die cutting, and then as I started playing, this card just kind of came together.

I layered a few strips of pattern paper to fit behind the heart, trimming as necessary, then popped the heart panel up with foam adhesive. I used thin strips to curve around the heart, and fit as much as possible in those tiny spaces around the outside.

Sentiment is heat embossed from the Happy Hello stamp set in gold, then trimmed down, and popped up with foam on the background. I also added a sprinkle of sparkling clear sequins to add some movement!

Finally, it just felt like it needed one more thing, so I wrapped some twine around the bottom of the card, and tied a bow. Just what it needed!

Simple Summer Trio - Simon Says Stamp July 2022 Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in to share a few final cards using the BRAND NEW July 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - You Shine! This month's kit a fun mix of juicy and fresh, and yet with a bit of a vintage flair! The included stamp set by the same name has some fresh fun images and great sentiments, there is a fun little stencil/die cut combo, of course some sweet pattern paperFoundry wax...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more!

Today I'm sharing a simple trio of cards, featuring some of the pattern paper in the kit - one of my favorite ways to create quick cards!

There were a couple pattern papers that had rectangular card designs - all ready to go! I chose a few, and trimmed them down to use for the front of my cards.

Next, I used the reverse side of some of those, as well as some other pieces of pattern paper to cut similar size layers, and adhere them together in fun wonky layers.

I punched a tiny hole through all the layers, and used that to thread a twine loop through, then tuck a bow inside the look, and tighten if from the back, tying and taping it in place. Simple bow - and it stays put!

Then it was simply a matter of adhering those all onto white cardbases with foam adhesive! Nice and easy, and you have 3 or more cards in no time at all!
