Have a Fairy Nice Day!

I had so much fun with this card! Can you tell I have little girls and love to make all the fun girly stuff? Anyway, this is for one of the WCMD challenges over at Inking it Up - Glitter and Bling! I am also entering it in the blogaversary challenge over on the Cricut Circle Blog - to use some of the Circle Exclusive cartridges for a project.

For this card I used Shall We Dance for the magic wand, and Pop-up Neighborhood for the frame in the background. Did some inking and glossy accents and glitter on the wand. Added some doodling, a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps, and a bit of Bakers Twine.

Chocolate Survival Kit #6

Another one! Are you getting tired of them yet?!?!? This one is for the challenge over at Whimsical Wednesdays - A Royal Celebration. I don't know if this looks royal enough, but I picked this color combo because one of my very good friends, who my girlies call their "auntie" has picked these for her wedding colors, and tells the girls that she has found her "prince charming!" So hopefully this fits the challenge okay!!!

The letters (big surprise) come from Nursery Rhymes, and all the rose cuts are from Shall We Dance, the Circle exclusive cart. Added some doodling and stick on pearls to finish it off!

Black, white, and silver...

Well...the thing I love about doing challenges is that it stretches me beyond what I would normally do! This card is definately proof of that! This is for a challenge over at Crafting with Cristina. The challenge was to use ONLY the colors black, white, and gray (or silver). I was determined to accomplish it - although I must admit it took me a little time to come up with an idea! So...here is what I came up with!

Pretty simple! Just used the silhouette option from the Shall we Dance cartridge, added a WHOLE bunch of matting, a sentiment from Pink by Design stamps, some white corners punched with a Fiskars corner punch, and finished off with a bit of bling with my Jolee's heat set tool.

Dance like no one's watching

Good evening! I couldn't wait until tomorrow, so I decided to post this tonight! Made this for the weekly challenge on the Cricut Circle message board - a sketch challenge. You also had to include at least 2 Cricut cuts, buttons, and incorporate stamps.

So...I cute the shape card by welding two shapes from Lacey Labels together. Then I cut another shape for the inside, and also a silhouette from Shall We Dance to embellish the inside. For the stamps, I used the cute little girl and some of her goodies from the set I got and used a while back from Crafty Secrets, and colored them in with my new Prismacolor pencils (which I LOVE by the way!). The buttons are some decorative dance ones that I used one of my husbands tools (thanks honey!) to cut the back off of so they would sit flat. The sentiment is from one of my Unity Stamp sets. Inked pretty much everything, added some doodling, pop dotted EVERYTHING on the front, and that was it. Had a lot of fun - and made something a lot different than anything I have ever made before!

Shall We Dance and Peachy Keen faces

Whew! Been a busy week, and for the first time since I started this blog, I haven't been able to make anything, and therefore post anything, for several days! Anyway, I am getting ready to go do a craft fair at a local school tomorrow, and taking all of my cards over there! I have about 60 cards made, and decided to not try to cram in as many more as I could make this week - but just to use what I had. Good thing too, since I haven't been able to find any spare time! All proceeds from the cards will continue to go to Sister Connection (see HERE for my first blog post, that explains more!) so I figure it is in the Lord's hands, and I will just have fun! Taking my 7 year old daughter to help as well, so we will have a great time spending the day together!

Anyway, got my 2 new sets of Peachy Keen faces today, that I ordered on Black Friday, so I decided to try another card with the Shall We Dance cartridge. I really LOVE this cartridge, but not so fond of the faces. Peachy Keen sets are PERFECT for fixing that small flaw though! This one came from the Dolly Dumplin assortment. A little of everything on this card...doodling, stamped sentiment, inking, Prima flowers, buttons, used a Sizzix folder through my Cuttlebug (completely interchangeable, by the way!), and pop-dotted the dancer. Thanks for looking! Blessings!

Another Shall We Dance Card

Just a really simple card using the Cricut Circle exclusive cartridge Shall we Dance. Put glossy accents on the cutout of the dancer, as well as around the stamped sentiment and around the outer edges, and added some ribbon. Super simple!

Shall We Dance card

My new circle cart, Shall We Dance, came yesterday, so I just HAD to try and make something! My oldest daughter, Katie, wanted to help, so she picked the cut to make, and helped choose the papers. Added a little bling, and instead of cutting out the face parts we used a Peachy Keen Stamp. Added a little bling to finish it off. Can't wait to play with this one some more!!!
