Birthday Presents

Hi, hope you had a good weekend.
Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and our lovely Carolyn has set us the challenge of making a birthday card with a number on.

I machine stitched around the parcels. The DP has a fabric look and feel to it (although hard to see in the photo).

I also made another one out of different papers....

I used Birthday Bash at 5" for all cuts except the numbers which were at .5".

This was a bit of a challenge for me as I usually do shaped number cards for children, so I wanted to do something different! I did check with the birthday girls who will receive these that they didn't mind their ages on their cards!!! Hence the numbers are subtle! Lol.

Do check out the DT's projects and come and play along.

Thanks for stopping by.

BBTB2 - Golf Card

Hello friends and welcome to my blog.
Are you raring to go with a brand new year?

Today over at BBTB2, our very talented and lovely Brenda, has asked us to fire up our cricuts and help celebrate National Hobby month by making a project in relation to a hobby.

I have lots of hobbies which include sailing, traveling and reading. (Chatting,  shopping, interior design, being led astray by friends ( and yes you know who you are!!! Lol)).  But my main passions are paper crafting and golf.

Since I share this hobby with my hubby and son, I made a shaped birthday card for my son.

The 'flag' shaped card is from Art Philosophy...I love this cart! It seems to have a bit of everything on it! The golfer is from Create a Friend. The sentiment is by My Creative Time.

Do check out all the fun projects from the DT and come and play along.
We love to see your makes.

Back to School Shaped Card

Hello Friends ,hope you had a great weekend.

I was lucky enough to attend a Hels Sheridan workshop at the weekend. I will share photos of my project and the one from Tim's once I get organised!

We have spent all summer taking our son to various golfing tournaments. He is playing well and is now down to a handicap of 8. Hubby and I have been playing lots too and played in yet another competition yesterday. I really need to magic up some time for my craft room!!

Today is my turn to host over at BBTB2 and I chose a shaped card  theme using any cricut cart.

Every year I make my son a back to school card, so this is what I made for him.....

I have another shaped card to share later this week.
