Fall pumpkin

Hello my Friends. Today is a new challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion. Fall is in the air and that's the theme for this week's challenge. Your project must include a pumpkin.

So I decided to do just that....I made a pumpkin. I was going to do a step by step to this but then realised a lot of other people were making these too and my 'new' find wasn't 'new' to everyone.Lol!

I still really like how it turned out. I added a battery tealight , I struggled to get a decent picture of this.

Check out the talented DT  over at Celebrate the Occasion and come play along with us.Be sure to link up before Sunday midnight to be in for a chance of winning a prize.

I am entering this for The Copycat Friday Challenge over at Karen's Little Scrap Pieces.

New Challenge at Celebrate the Occasion

Hi,today is a new challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion. This week we are asking you to make a project for Breast Cancer Awareness. I know this is a cause close to a lot of people's hearts and most of us have a connection in some shape or form.

21 years ago my Mum had breast cancer and just 2 weeks ago after all these years, she had to have another biopsy on a suspicious area. Fortunately, she was given the all clear last week. It's things like this that help put all our trivial worries in perspective. I too have yearly mammograms because I have a very strong family history of breast cancer and my other relatives weren't as lucky as my Mum in fighting it.

Here is my card....

We should always celebrate courage.

Recipe

 Pink Journey cart
(this came with my pink expression and I have not used this cartridge before).
Card base cut at 8.5"
White Layer cut at 3.75"
Phrase cut at 1.5"
Inking
Pink dew drops
3d foam

Entering this in the Link Up For Pink Linking Party.

Remember to give yourself some TLC......Touch,Look and Check

Enjoy today,live with love.
Love you Mum.

Just For You

Hi,hope your week is off to a great start. Today is a new challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion and the theme is to make a circle shaped card for any occasion. Here is what I came up with...

The card is cut at 5.25" from Wild Card and the flower is cut at 5" from Life's a Beach. All layers are embossed, sanded and inked. I curled the petal edges and raised the centres on 3d foam to add dimension.

Do come on over and check out the fabulous projects by the rest of the design team and don't forget to add your project too.

Thanks for stopping by. Sorry for so few posts lately, just very busy with the holidays. I truly believe it's important to make the most of these times as children grow up so fast and life's so busy ,it's great to kick back and have fun.

Hugs,Jayne x
