Golfing Good Luck!

Happy Monday!
Hope you had a good weekend.
Mine was slightly strange as the house is so very quiet!
The boys flew to Indonesia on saturday ready for the World Champs today.
Good Luck Ossian!

Laura has asked us to alter a cricut cut for this week's BBTB2. challenge.

It was the perfect opportunity to make a Good Luck card for Ossian.

I nearly always alter my cricut cuts ...inking, embossing, doodling or glossy accents.
(And that's just this card..lol!) Personally I think it brings the cuts to life.

A side view to show the dimension and  inside.

I chose yellow to represent sand and blue the water.

I curled the flag for movement.

The sentiment is from My Guy by Paper Smooches.
Wild Card 2 for the card at 5" and phrase at 2".
Create a Critter2 at 4" for the flag and green.

I have made a card for Oss to open each day whilst he is away with some 'Mum' encouragement in!
Just didn't have time to take photos . If the mini cards make it home I will share.

I hope you check out my fabulous DT sisters and find time to play along with us over at BBTB2.

Thanks for visiting.

BBTB2 Headphones

Hi, how are you doing?
Sorry I haven't been around, family life is busy and blogger hasn't been playing nicely.
I haven't been able to upload any photos to my blog but now I've changed over to Google Chrome all seems well!

Today our talented Michelle has challenged us to use a musical note over at BBTB2.

I'm trying to only make projects that I can use and with so many teenage boy birthdays around this seemed like a good idea...

Music and headphones feature heavily in our house! Okay, maybe less of the headphones part!! lol.
I used Wild Card 2 for all the cuts at 5" and added ink, doodling and 3d foam.
Oh, and enamel dots!...slightly addicted to these!!

Do check out the DT girls, their projects are just fabulous!

Cricut cut stencils

Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great weekend.

This week over at BBTB2, Maureen has asked us to use our cricuts to cut a stencil.
She is certainly bang on trend, stencils are everywhere!

I used Artbooking for the stencil cut at 5".
I inked my background with mowed lawn, seedless preserves and vintage photo and misted.
Heat dryed and then used Paperartsy Grunge paste over my stencil. I kept it rustic as I wanted the rough texture of wood.

I used Wild Card 2 for the owl at 4".
The DP is MME - So Sophie.
The leaves and sentiment are Paper Smooches...my latest obsession!

This was to show the dimension.

Do check out all the wonderful and varied inspiration from the DT and come and join in the fun. Remember your stencil has to be cut on your cricut.

Hope to catch up with you over the next couple of days.

Thanks for looking.

Well the week flew along again!
But it's the weekend and I hope you all have fun things planned.

Our Fun Friday challenge this week over at Little Scrap Pieces is Shape Up!
Anything but an A2 card.

I used Wild Card 2 for this fun card cut at 4.5"
I haven't added a sentiment yet as I thought it would be great for my stash ( don't know about you but for all the cards I make I never have any on hand!!). Could be new home or holiday.

I made a different version too.

Shaped cards are always fun, check out the ladies as they have some fabulous ones to share and hope you join us in this challenge.

BBTB2 Telephone Baby!

Hi,how are you doing?
I've had a busy time decorating and still have my floor to finish. And oh boy...do I ache!
Lots of small spaces to get into!!

Over at BBTB2 we have a new challenge. Brenda,my friend and talented DT sister is our host and asked us to use the card feature on a cricut cart of our choice.

My card is cut at 4.5" from Wild Card 2.
Just a little embossing and paint added for definition.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time.

I think this old telephone cut would be better in a pretty/shabby DP.
With so much e-technology it's great but sometimes you can't beat a good old chat!

Do check out all the amazing and varied cards from the Design Team and I look forward to seeing yours.

Thanks for looking.

Big Hugs

Follow Your Dreams...

Hi,hope you are having a great week.
Surprise! Sorry I know I've not been blogging much lately but I do have a card to share
with you today.

Last night after work I made my BFF a card for her forthcoming holiday.
That gave me the idea for this one.

I just love how soft and pretty it came out. Wished I had made it in blue
though so I could give to my son. I always tell him to follow his dreams.
I truly believe we all have the ability to achieve whatever we want to...it's only
our perceptions that hold us back.

Recipe
