BBTB2 - Cow Milk Carton

Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great weekend.
This week the lovely Sharon has challenged us to use a cow over at BBTB2.

I used my cricut Imagine!!!!! Wasn't even sure if this ornament still worked!
I love the cow image from Imagine More....

I cut the milk carton from TBBM2 at 6" out of acetate and added some milk bottle candy.

I had to take a piccie real quick as the boys were trying to free the candy!

Hope you like my milk carton.
Do check out all the fab inspiration from the team.

Thanks for looking.

BBTB2 - Gift Packaging

Good Morning and welcome to Jayne Designs!
How was your weekend?
Mine was busy and fun with the added bonus of beautiful weather and time with family and friends.

Today I am host  over at BBTB2 and the challenge is gift packaging.
We all need bags, tags, boxes and ribbons for one occasion or another.

I kept my collection really simple and let the beautiful papers do the talking!
I like having pillow boxes on hand as I can make them up but they store flat until ready to use.

I used TBBM2 for these cut at 6 and 7". The scoring tool really makes assembly crisp and easy.

The little gift cards were cut at 2 and 2.5" and the ribbons .25" and .5" from Artiste.
The papers are Bazzill Basics Vintage Lace. They have a lovely texture on them, almost fabric like.
The tiny bow is by Mama Elephant.

Do check out all the wonderful inspiration from the ladies over at BBTB2 and hope you can join us in this fun challenge.

BBTB2 CD Box and Sleigh!

Good Morning, hope you had a good weekend.
Mine was spent with family and then close friends for dinner followed by a family game of golf, Christmas tree decorating and a film. It really was a fun and relaxing weekend. It makes a change to have a weekend without schedules and racing round! Christmas party season has started!

Our lovely leader, Susan, is our host this week over at BBTB2 and has asked us to make a holiday gift container.
I made 2 projects, my first is a table treat holder....

I cut the sleigh at 4" from Create a Critter 2. I flipped the image and cut it again for the other side and made a simple box to attach the sleighs too and added chocolate.

The poinsettia is a die.
These are super quick and easy and I will add a name to each sleigh and have them as place setting/treat holders for my guests at Christmas.

My other project is a  CD box....

This was hard to photograph to show it's a box and not a card!

I cut this from TBBM2 at fit to page.
The DP is MME.
Do you like my little penguin...I made him too!
I love needle felting.

The parcel is cut at 3" from Create a Critter 2.

I know this is a CD box but as we download music I thought I would put an I-tunes card in here instead.

My fabulous DT teamies have lots of awesome projects to inspire you so do check them out and come and join in the fun.

BBTB2 - Christmas in July

Good Morning! Hope you all enjoyed a good weekend.

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and it is my turn to host.
The theme is Christmas in July. So any project Christmas related made with your cricut.
Most of you know I love making 3D things and I went with a gift box...

I used TBBM2 to make this box to put these little Molton Brown soaps in.

The box is cut at 9" and the DP is Nordic Christmas by First Edition.

I used Dec 25th to cut the snowflake at 2.5" and a Leanne Creatief poinsettia die for the flower.

A little inking and a greeting from LOTV to complete it.

These are going to be table gifts for Christmas for the ladies.
I shall add their names to each box.

My DT sisters have lots more wonderful projects to inspire you.
It's a great time to get a head start on the festive season and I'm looking forward to seeing your seasonal creations.

National Tooth Fairy Day

Happy Monday Everyone. Today over at Fantabulous Cricut we are celebrating National Tooth
Fairy Day.
For this week's challenge #125,we want to see a project using a
tooth,tooth fairy or smile.
Don't forget there has to be a cricut cut as we are a cricut challenge blog.

Many of you know I work with teeth but this challenge was nothing to do with me!
My tooth fairy and tooth were from A Child's Year which my lovely friend,Kate,
kindly lent me.
I made a pillow box from TBBM2 and embossed with clouds and added
the fab sentiment, which I love, from My Creative Time.

Do check out all the inspiration from the fab DT over at
FCCB and come and join in the fun.

My blog is like a bus, nothing for ages and then lots come along! LOL!

Olympic Milk!

Hello my creative friends,Happy Monday!
Well the London 2012 Olympic Games have started and I have to say I loved the opening ceremony and as a family we are hooked on the games!
Such a great atmosphere, you can't beat team spirit whoever you support.

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 hosted by the lovely Krista and is called On The Farm.
We want to see your cricut cut, farm animal themed projects.

I planned weeks,no months ago,all the Olympic related projects I would make...
and I made the odd one... but not many...hangs head in shame...lol!
Instead, golf has been calling my name which doesn't leave a lot of time for extra crafting
after work and family life.
So this project is a (very loose) link to the Olympics.....

This is my Olympic milk carton....it's what all the sportsmen and women are drinking!!!!
I did say it was a loose link! Heehee.

The carton is cut at 5" from TBBM2 and the cow is from Imagine More (and yes I actually
used my big paperweight!).

You need milk for tea and cake...London tea and Olympic cake pops!
And yes,I made them!

Thank you for indulging me !
Check out my very talented design team sisters over at BBTB2 for lots
of inspiration and then fire your cricut up and come and join in the fun.
We love seeing your projects and don't forget we still have a Christmas in July cricut challenge going.

Hugs

Christmas in July

For my FCCB wedding favour boxes click here.

Hello again, today I am so excited to be hosting the challenge over at BBTB2.
Instead of a specific cricut cut I went with a  theme.
The theme is 'Christmas in July'.
It's a great chance to get a head start on Christmas.

We would like to see your cricut made cards, layouts or 3D projects.
Here is what I came up with....

At Christmas we have our traditional tree full of ornaments lovingly collected over
the years and I have a little tree in my dining room full of papercrafted treats.
These will join them. One for each member of our household.

Here's a close up...

I used clear rock candy distress crackle paint and glossy accents.

All layered up and inked.

Recipe

TBBM2 - crackers cut and scored at 6"
If I had cut at 5.75" I would have got 2 crackers from one 12 x 12 paper!
Will remember that for next time!
Art Philosophy - tree & ornament cut at 2.5"
- holly at 2"
All multi cut and layered,I liked how the holly peeled with the crackle
paint!
DP - Tim Holtz kraft resist - Christmas Memories
Twine
Red seam binding from Karen at Little Scrap Pieces.
Hessian

I like how these turned out.The cardstock is glazed and I added some
distress ink colour to parts of them.
Just need to add a snap and game.
(We play lots of silly games - who am I? Dare,Forfeit etc!!)

I am also entering this over at Little Scrap pieces - Christmas in July.
My Craft Spot - Christmas in July - card or gift box

Do check out my fellow designers as they have lots more inspiration
for you. We love seeing your projects.

It is a perfect size for sweets or stationary items.
I used crinkle ribbon and Tiny Tags stamp set from My Craft Spot.
Kimberly is bringing some new stamps and dies out soon.
Can't wait to see them.

I do hope you can join in the cricut challenges over at

Sneak Peek Day 4 - Stamp Release Party

For my blogaversary giveaway click here.

I hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks so far. Today we are using Tiny Tags.
I just love this set and have used it constantly since it arrived!

I used an Adam Prescott stamp and coloured with my promarkers.
A touch of glossy accents for the mixing bowl.
The tag, stitching and sentiment is all from  the Tiny Tags set.

And of course I had to use TBBM2 (can you tell it's my favourite?).
This cracker turned out so nicely and I love the surprise of pulling a cracker, you never know what treasure you will find! Thought this sentiment served it well.

Welcome Vase

For my blogaversary giveaway click here.

Hi,hope you had a great weekend. The weather has just been sensational,so managed to get quite a bit of gardening done. Still lots more to do though! I just love when we get to eat alfresco (without layers of jumpers!!).

Over at BBTB2 the challenge this week was to use the cricut cut 'welcome' in your project.
I made a project for My Craft Spot new stamp release this week using the new TBBM2 cart..... I know, still my latest cart addiction I'm afraid!! lol. Anyway, you'll get to see that on Saturday's blog hop,but at one stage the box reopened and the shape it produced gave me this idea for a vase......

Recipe
TBBM2 - daisy fold box cut at 6.75"
Flower Shoppe - leaves at 2"
Straight From the Nest - Welcome cut at 1",poppies at 2.5"
Heirloom Gold perfect pearls for the poppies
Adirondack paint dabber in Willow for stems
Vanilla crinkle ribbon

I made this with the idea of giving as a welcome gift to a new neighbour. I really like how it turned out, especially the vase part. I was going to put a few tulips in a plastic bag of water inside and decided that I ought to make paper flowers instead. Thought the red was striking until my son asked me why I had put our remembrance day poppies in my vase and it wasn't November?!
Pleased he thought the poppies were so good and explained they were actually a summer flower and then decided I should have made tulips...oh well... they look lovely in my conservatory!!

Jill at Jaihart has a linky party I'm linking this up to. There's still time to link.
Don't forget the stamp release party this week over at My Craft Spot.
The stamps are just fabulous and Kimberly is offering a prize each day.

Thanks for calling by.
Hugs

Tea Anyone?

For my blogaversary giveaway click here.

Happy Thursday! Is it me or is this week flying?

I have been playing with my TBBM2 again! Surprise, surprise I hear you say!

Last week I made one of these for my friend but didn't take any piccies.

I'm not a tea drinker (I know, not very British of me is it?) but I do love this teabag holder.

Now PG Tips are pyramid teabags and just not designed for this holder.
Luckily for me, my friend Ted donated a wrapped teabag for my project!
Not just any teabag but a special Harrod's one!

Recipe

TBBM2 - cut at 4"(this teabag is bigger than standard ones and I cut my regular one at 3.75")
K and Co DP
Stamp free with My Craft Stamper magazine (old issue)
Ribbon - My Craft Spot

Thanks for stopping by and looking.
