BBTB2 - Easter Chick Box

Hi, how was your weekend?
Is it me or do they fly by? lol.

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and we have a new member, Diana, to welcome to the team. Welcome aboard Diana!

For the challenge we  were asked to use our favourite cricut cartridge to make any project.
Well this was a tough one as I have 3 favourite cartridges and 2 of them are really old and I still 'go to' them.
1. Doodlecharms
2. TBBM
3. Art Philosophy

Two of my most Pin'd projects are my triangular Santa Box and my Reindeer Treat Box.
So I pulled out TBBM and made this cute Easter Chick gift box.

Isn't she a cutie? The triangular box is cut at 6" from TBBM and the head is from Create a Critter2 at 4" and I cut the body off and saved the wings.

The face is from Peachy Keen Everyday Assortment. The sentiment is from Color Me Happy  by My Creative Time and the loopy leaf die is from Paper Smooches. I hand made the felt flower.

Easter Chickie has a friend...will reveal soon! Heehee!

Do check out all the inspiration from the Design Team and come and link up your favourite cart project.

I am entering this over at FCCB - Pick a Holiday.
Show it off Saturday - Little Scrap Pieces.
Thanks for stopping by.

BBTB2 - Valentine Match Box

Happy Monday Friends!
Well, it's my turn to host this week's challenge over at BBTB2 and love is in the air!
I challenged my DT sisters to make a Valentine project using a heart.

I made a matchbox of love!!! Yeah...that was a bit sloppy wasn't it?!!

And for the inside....

I included messages, hearts and chocolate.

Supplies: Cricut TBBM, Artbooking, MME - Lost & Found - Record it

I used an oldie but a goodie for the box, TBBM at 3"  and the other cuts were Artbooking.
There's an extra stitched heart die from My Creative Time too.

I am entering this over at :-  FCCB - seeing red.
Simon says Stamp Monday challenge - Love notes (in my box)

Santa Ted Box!

Hello, this is my second post of the day. For my FCCB post please scroll down.

The ever so sweet and talented Brenda is our host over at BBTB2 this week and chose the theme of Santa.
We want to see your cricut cut Santa projects.

Last year I made Santa boxes and friends and they have been pinned so many times. I thought I needed a 2012 version.....

I think Santa Ted will fit in with his friends very well!

The box is from TBBM cut at 6" and embossed and inked.
Teddy Bear Parade for the head and hat at 3".

Ted joined by his friends...all links on the side bar.

Lots of inspiring projects from my fellow DT mates so do check them out and hope you are able to come and play along.

I am entering this over at Sunday Funday - Anything Goes

My kitchen is virtually finished and the scene of these photos.
I will try and post a few piccies before Christmas.

I would just like to wish all my followers, visitors and friends a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Thanks for your friendship and support.

Christmas Gift Bags

This is my second post of the day,for my FCCB post click here.

We have a new challenge over at BBTB2,the lovely Suzanne has asked us to decorate a gift bag or gift tag using cricut cuts. I love making gift bags so this was right up my alley.
I have 2 different projects to share with you.

My first is a vintage feel bag....

I used an old favourite, TBBM to make the bag cut at 4.5" and used a MS punch for the edge.
The DP is the Turtle Dove Collection by Kaisercraft. The wreath is cut at 2" from Dec 25th and has clear rock candy distress crackle paint on it. The sentiment is from Jingle All the Way by My Craft Spot. A wire handle and ribbon, hemp and a wood button just to finish it off.

My next bag I kept really simple and modern...

I added this cute little gingerbread boy from Create a Critter 2 to a plain gift bag.
He's cut at 3" and it didn't take many embellishments to  pretty the bag up. Just popped him up with 3d foam for effect.

There is lots of stunning inspiration for you over at BBTB2,so do check it out and hope you come and join in the fun. I am so pleased to have a couple of bags done ready for the festive season.

Looking forward to seeing your bags or tags.
