Cindy is our new 2 month Guest Designer, welcome Cindy!
I had this paper from Kaisercraft called 'What a Hoot' that I had picked up because I LOVED it but no plans. This image gave me a plan to do with it. :)
I started off by printing 4 copies of the image onto copic paper, about 3" square (the nice thing about digi images... you can resize to your use!) I coloured the images with my Stampin' Up markers, then cut out layers from two of them. Once finished colouring, I cut out a full image with Spellbinders Labels 2.
The spare image was roughly cut out and used as a mask to cover the colouring and then sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang: Treasure Island Turquoise.
I covered a card front with a 5x6.5" piece of the pattered paper, then a 4.5x6" of the reverse side.
The ribbons running down the side are from Magenta and Maya Arts.
The die cut image was matted with a piece of the same paper then pop dotted onto the front of the
card.
The pieces I cut out of the other coloured images were then pop dotted on top of the main image.
Finishing touches include the 'Thanks' stamp by Stampin' Up, White Zig Wink of Stella brush on the glasses and a couple of green plastic squares from my kit.

I love to work on 3D paper crafting, so I`m really excited about Lynn`s challenge.
For this project I chose this beautiful Robin`s Fetish digi "Rain, rain go away".
I made a round easel card and piled up some brown doily border dies over a pale rose shades, to finally show this lovely girl looking trough the window.
For a final 3D touch, I added two delicate butterflies with their wings up, as if they were flying.
To color the digi I used Spectrum Noir Pens and Silhouette Cameo for all the paper cutting.
First I have to thank Lyn for this challenge. Working in layers is something that I like, and I especially loved working with this image. To give dimension to the layers, I used double-sided foam adhesive and I highlighted some parts of the image.
Secondly, I have to say I am very happy because I used my Valentine gift, my Spectrum Noir Markers to paint this beautiful image. By the way, this image is Smart Owl and is courtesy of our great sponsor Robyn's Fetish.
Once I finished with the image. I placed it on a base card, I used an adhesive edge and a sentiment according to the theme. I hope you enjoy this challenge as much as I have enjoyed.

I love the theme of this challenge, it's right up my street. I love layers, 3D projects and anything mixed media...... Our sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and I chose the image of a bird and bird box..
I used a small canvas and tried to add depth to it by adding several layers. Unfortunately the photos aren't very good at showing the layers clearly...
The first layer was paper blocking, which is basically creating a background using varying sized, patterned, and coloured papers (which are from my stash). There was then a layer of paint, added embellishments, and a large paper flower which I made.
I finished the canvas off by edging it in black and applying a couple more embellishments, and not forgetting the use of Treasure Gold gilding wax over some embellishments and around the edge.......
This image is called Ms Lamb Chop, and I didn't immediately think baby card (though it crossed my mind), once I had coloured the flowers and added layers of HOTP papers and a gorgeous grosgrain spotty ribbon from Crafty Ribbons the card just yelled out Baby Girl! I coloured the image with Promarkers, and cut out several layers of the lamb to decoupage it (I will take a better photo to show this soon) added some Stickles glue to the flowers (and having decided to do this today as I was trying to finish the card a few accidents were inevitable, so I had to reapply it a few times and it is very much wet in the photo).
Sorry I am late again, seems to happen every time, this is due partly to ongoing computer problems and family visiting - details on my blog! (Also I added this earlier and it disappeared again).
