Anyone who criticizes Muhammad and the Quran is bound to receive death threats. In this video, I show how I dealt with a recent threat.

Facebook Censors Post Reporting Jihadi Threat against Me and My Mother

Yesterday, I received yet another threat on YouTube (no surprise there). I posted my peaceful reply to the threat on Facebook, but Facebook removed the post, claiming that it violates the community standards. If Facebook censorship now means that we can't even draw attention to threats, it's time we asked who they're trying to protect.

Zakir Naik Fan Asks if He Should Behead Me

"Erick Setiawan" goes from "I have a question" to "Should I kill them?" in the space of three comments.

First, after searching for Zakir Naik videos, he watches my video "Zakir Naik Proves That Jesus Is Muhammad's God!" He then proceeds to criticize the deity of Christ and to show by his objection that he has no clue what he's talking about.

Next, "Erick" sees my "Who Killed Muhammad?" video in the sidebar. He clicks on the video, and, in response to my careful argumentation, calls me a racist.

Finally, after watching this video, he sees my video about Caliph Uthman burning all known copies of the Qur'an ("The Original Burn the Qur'an Day"), and he asks if he should behead Nabeel and me.

Pretty impressive to go through all Three Stages of Islamic Denial (criticize, pull race card, threaten) so quickly. The shocking part is that Erick didn't learn peace and tolerance from his play list, which is filled with Zakir Naik videos.

In 2012, I interviewed two former Muslims (C.L. Edwards and Farhan Qureshi) on why they left Islam (click here to watch it). Apparently, I said something in the video that made a Muslim want to murder me. Unfortunately, since so many different things seem to offend Muslims these days, I don't know what he's referring to. Here's the message, in case anyone can decipher it:

Muslim Woman Threatens to Murder Me Over Qur'an Video

A Muslim woman named Zainab has threatened to kill me for my epic masterpiece, "The Original Burn the Qur'an Day":

As you can see from her threat, however, she hasn't even watched the video. She assumes from the title that we burned a Qur'an, when we actually condemned book burning. The title of the video refers to Caliph Uthman burning all known copies of the Qur'an to conceal the differences among the manuscripts.

So, this woman would gladly kill me based on her false assumption. The tragedy is that, if she had watched the video, she might have learned something about the Qur'an. Amazingly, only minutes before she threatened to kill me because of her false assumption that we burned a Qur'an, she praised someone for burning a Bible!

Muslim Says Nabeel and I Should Have Our Throats Slit for Making Video about the Qur'an

Four years ago, Nabeel Qureshi and I made a video discussing the textual history of the Qur'an. We showed that, according to Muslim sources, the third "rightly-guided" caliph, Uthman, gathered all available Qur'an manuscripts and burned them because of textual differences. Muslim Says He Wouldn't Mind Killing Me for Interpreting the Qur'an as Violent

In my post about the beheading of American aid worker Peter Kassig by ISIS, I added my video "Top Ten Qur'an Verses for Understanding ISIS." A Muslim just said he wouldn't mind killing me for my interpretation of the Qur'an (even after he noted that everything I said was correct):

Three years ago, I made a video pointing out (1) that Allah said he would sever Muhammad's aorta if he invented revelations, and (2) that Muhammad died in agony while claiming that he could feel his aorta being severed. You can watch the video here.
