Those Aren't Your Boots!!

Jessica has a 2 year old son who is overflowing with personality. She shares a page with us documenting one of her son's quirks: stealing his sister's rain boots! Check out the bright colors in the new Daisy D's line! Perfect for a layout about a silly little boy.
"Those Aren't Your Boots"

SUPPLIES:
Patterned Paper: Daisy D's ("The Wonder Years" and "Bambino"), Fancy Pants "Floral Chic"
Letters: Colorbok, Doodlebug
Chipboard: Colorbok
Recycled Packaging from Love, Elsie
Flowers: Prima Sprites
Brads: Daisy D's "The Wonder Years"
Gaffer Tape: Making Memories
Red Ticket: Jenni Bowlin
Grungeboard
Inks: Colorbox (blue, white, black)

HOW TO:

I recycled the packaging from some Elsie rubons. The cute graph pattern was something worth saving! Place that behind a large strip from the Fancy Pants paper. Roll the sides up by gently working the paper between your fingers until it softens up a bit. Cut another strip from the "Bambino" paper. Fold the corners down and hold it in place using the gaffer tape. By folding or rolling the corners of double sided paper, you're able to get a glimpse of the other side, as well as add a dash of more color! Place photo and Doodlebug letters. Carefully outline your letters. Cut some clouds out of the Wonder Years paper. The clouds will serve as your journaling/title spots. Ink the edges and draw a quick black outline around edge. Ink your grungeboard using a dark blue all over. Then use white ink to blend. Finally, ink the embossed dots with a black. Finish up your layout with your ticket with additional journaling, chipboard, and coordinating primas.
