Follow..........................................
The disciple, the would-be initiate, approaches the master and says: "Teach me."
And the teacher replies: "Come, follow me."
Sometimes, the newcomer tries to insist: "No, I mean tell me."
And the adept can only smile a welcoming love that cannot be "told."
More often, like the good and intelligent aspirant in Luke's gospel, the now-no-longer-neophyte turns sadly away.
Spirituality is a reality that one approaches not be "learning," but by following.
