The scope of the arrogance of western healthcare is truly staggering and only matched by their obsession with population control and enforced western contraceptive ideals on other countries. It took me a while to ditch the attitude that all charities are good, prompted by questions over extravagant advertising campaigns. How much of your pound actually goes to the charity? Then I found out that BBC Children in Need has previously given grants to charities funding abortion and family planning services and using research methods that involve destructive embryos - see the entry in the 2006 edition of SPUC's Charities Bulletin .
